Captain
Captain
5. Seven of Nine
4. Jadzia Dax
3. Spock
2. Data - He was a computer!

1. T’Pol - Still my favorite.

Spock (Prime) by a mile.

But, Data could out think him. How could it be "by a mile?"

The question was "who's my favorite". Data might be fast, and Brent Spinner is awesome and all, but Nimoy/Spock had a way more epic run IMHO (from TOS, to TNG, to NuTrek) than Tin Man's. He friggin' created a black hole.

Edit: What Melakon said.

Fair enough. I don't think Data is that much of a stretch though. And clearly, I went with another choice altogether.

Data is a distant second with Seven close by in third. The others don't really register with me.

Data sat at ops.

For what it's worth, Memory Alpha lists him as also being a science officer. And, if you watched the show, he was obviously used in that capacity.

He was called science officer once. Though IIRC, originally he was going to be the Science Officer, but didn' look good in blue. So they invented the "Operations Officer" position. The science officer reference was probably an error that slipped by the editing process.

Well, he was multifunctional...

^It's easy. Just dip your fingers in cyanide before doing it. It'll knock them right out...

...and good luck with cyanide on your hands. :p

He is programmed in multiple techniques.
