Who should take over the Sarah Jane Adventures?

It would be sad if the series died with Elizabeth Sladen. Which other former companion could take over?

My personal choice would be Sophie Aldred as Ace, she's young enough to do it, would certainly be up for it and I must confess had a huge lesbo crush on her back in 1988.

Any other ideas?

That's a great idea and I nearly replied with "how about Ace?" then realized what I had just quoted, lol

I could see the show being renamed Sarah Jane's Adventurers (or something similar) and Ace or someone else taking over, if it was properly done.

However, aren't the kids now old enough (And experienced enough in extra-terrestrial threats), there wouldn't really be a need to have a new adult taking over, the Kids could take over and let a younger kid(s) from the Neighborhood get involved to keep the kid appeal of the show.

I don't think anyone should or could take it over. Even a new spin off in that style is a poor idea right now due to the inevitable comparisons.

Yup. I've only seen S1, one time, when it first aired in America, so, I saw the mistake, continued it, and didn't think anything wrong of it

Yep - the show existed because the show-runner wanted to work with that character and that actress - it's reason to exist no longer exists and it's over.

Yeah, though I still say letting Rani's Dad in on the truth could have created some hilarity. Really it's best it ends though, but I'd like to see Rani and Clyde (come on they have to make that spin off show!) on Who, just once.
