Who Should Run Against Trump in 2020?

Joe Biden would be more entertaining against Trump but I'm going with Bernie Sanders.

Of course, the Democrat who ends up running against him has my vote no matter what. Period. Blue No Matter Who.

But what it really comes down to is who can flip back the Rust Belt. I think Bernie can do that.

Being as it was what over 25 years ago. I can't really say how I would have voed could I have voted. As I don't know what was said during the Election campaign that Clinton eventually won in 1992.

But was the soceity of 25 years ago the same as it is today or has peoples tolerance/acceptance of certain behaviours changed over that time?

But aren't people innocent until proven guilty?

Their is a difference between saying you are innocent of a sexual assult and openly admitting to sexual assault ie. groping.

Trump didn't admit to sexual assault against his accusers. In the audio that was released, he made comments about being physical with women who would "let him do anything."

This poll isn't really about Trump though. You can't undo Trump's victory with any amount of complaining. This thread is about who among the Democratic party's motley crue is the best option is to run against him.

Intentionally poisoning the well with antagonistic descriptions in the OP instead of just presenting a premise and legitimate (Al Franken? Seriously?) options for people to vote on and discuss, hotlinking, logical fallacies galore, and personal remarks (not just the OP, but back and forth) already and we're still on the first page.

Fonzob, your history with starting numerous provocative political threads that have landed you in hot water should have made you tread lightly with your return, and yet you're right back to using all your worst habits again from the start of this thread. Therefore, I am closing this down. If you would like to start another thread about 2020 candidates (which is a perfectly legitimate topic) without the problems listed above, feel free. But we're not going to get into this tango with you again where we're constantly having to moderate your troublesome threads.

If you want to take your political discussions to TNZ, so be it. If you're going to remain within the more moderated sphere of Miscellaneous though, you need to regulate your more problematic tendencies.
