There are a lot of loud voices in the Democratic party today. I realize it's still pretty early, but I wanted to see where BBS Trek currently stands on who they think could be a front-runner to go head to head with Trump in the next presidential election. Who is your ideal Democratic candidate? Who is the dynamic character the Democratic party needs? If you don't have a person in mind, what are you looking for in a candidate?

Someone who cusses a lot and promotes "resistance?"

Someone who calls for impeachment without evidence of a crime?

Someone who buys power in her party?

Someone who can fake cry on demand to manipulate voters?

Someone who endorses illegal leaks of government information for political purposes?

Someone who lives in the past?

Someone else?

^ Hotlinking is against board rules. I have converted your images to links.

The descriptions in your OP appear to be intentionally antagonistic. I know US politics is quite divisive right now, so just a friendly reminder to all participants to keep things within the board guidelines. Thank you. :)

ETA: OK, I have just re-edited them all back to links again. Please do not revert back to the same hotlinked images.

I think they had the right candidate this time with Bernie, but they shafted him and he'll probably be too old for another run at it.

Have they got anyone else who isn't the 'same old same old' business as usual type ?

Is there really such a thing as a perfect candidate? Or a candidate who doesn't have something about their character you may not particular like? Surely it comes down to do their positives outway their negatives and what we are willing to overlook. Now for me I wouldn't votedfor a candidate who admitted to gropping woman wouldn't that be considered sexual assault?

Al Franken should run with Ben Stein as VP. At least it'd be funny.

I'll vote for Gary Johnson if he's running again. If only Gus Hall was still alive

Did you vote (or would you have voted) for Bill Clinton?

Being as it was what over 25 years ago. I can't really say how I would have voed could I have voted. As I don't know what was said during the Election campaign that Clinton eventually won in 1992.

But was the soceity of 25 years ago the same as it is today or has peoples tolerance/acceptance of certain behaviours changed over that time?

But aren't people innocent until proven guilty?

Their is a difference between saying you are innocent of a sexual assult and openly admitting to sexual assault ie. groping.
