I have no idea who this Brandon Routh person is, but Tom Welling is beautiful. Certain characters in Smallville were really getting on my last nerve so I stopped watching at the end of S5 I think...but Tom Welling has never stopped being breathtaking.
Interesting how the actor who portrayed the TV incarnation who was not seen wearing the famous suit and cape is long remembered while the actor who portrayed Supes in costume not too long ago is relegated to an answer to a mere trivia question.
There's two reasons for that:
1. Superman Returns is extremely forgettable.
2. Tom Welling ironically played the character longer than any of the other actors combined.
Well yeah, but he had 10 years worth of episodes to star in, while Routh had a 2 hour movie.
I still doubt the average man on the street could remember Welling's name though.
