Who is your favourite and least favourite captain?

Although I'm mostly a TNG fan, Kirk is my favorite captain.

I like them all, but Sisko would be my least favorite captain because he had such a hard time accepting himself as the Emissary.

Oh, so we're listing B listers then? Alright.

Favorite: Edward Jellico... quite possibly the most effective captain we see. A man who will get the job done no matter the cost and a welcome deviation from the happy go lucky status quo.

Least: Jonathan Archer by virtue of he doesn't deserve to be an A lister.

Honorable mention: Erika Hernandez. Enterprise would've been better with her as the main captain. ;)

Favorite: mirror universe Hoshi Sato.

RRrrrroar !

My favourite would be Sisko because he gets the job done, even if that means blackmail or outright villainy. :rommie:

Least favourite is Janeway because the script always agrees with her, and she knows everything. Actress is good, though.

All the other ones are either good (Archer) or Awesome (Kirk and Picard).

My favourite captain was Picard.

My least favourite was Janeway. She keeps talking about how the main priority is to get back to the Alpha Quadrant. But she keeps allowing small concerns to distract her. She's inconsistent when it comes to interpreting the Prime Directive. And she promoted B'ellana to head of engineering. I don't know about their time, but in the 21st century, we are taught from childhood that you don't hit people to solve your problems.

Well if it's not your thing, I understand. But you may want to give it another shot on a rainy day. Despite it's flaws, Voyager contains some awesome Trek moments.

I'm sure it does, and I'm still considering buying it. But then I think "shit, I have to sit through 135 hours of show just to make sure the DVDs don't have defects, and that means watching Threshold, amongst other episodes, again." Plus, it's still way too expensive for my taste.

I'd rather they came up with a "best of voyager" box set with around 12-20 episodes considered the best of the lot. I'd buy that.

Yeah, I hear you. Voyager has more than its fair share of bad episodes, and the bad episodes are especially bad. But the good episodes shine like diamonds. You could try Netflix, which has all the Trek series. And you could work off of people's Top 20 best voyager episodes lists online. Just a thought.

Favourite would be The Sisko, Picard or Kirk. I uh.. just can't pick right now. I've been watching a lot of each show recently and these 3 are all amazing captains to watch. I usually list Sisko as my favourite, though I'd admit Picard is the definitive Star Trek captain and the ones all should be measured by.

Favorite: mirror universe Hoshi Sato.

Love that 2-parter.

Favorite is Sisko, hands down.

Least favorite, I think I'd have to say Archer. I don't dislike him, I just like him the least.
