Its gotta be Janeway. What other captain could have given their crew a tour of an unexplored galaxy and work hand in hand w/those noble creatures-The Borg. What an opportunity, they were so lucky.
While Kirk or Sisko would have come up w/ways to save the Ocampa and get home, but no Janeway was so sure of her self, she was gonna save the Ocampa and screw her crew.
Also you gotta love the bipolarity of stripping Paris of rank and jailing him but Tuvok conspired to install new tech against Janeway's orders, she tells Tuvok you've dissapointed me.............what a nice chick....................even enforecment of ship's rules is so overated and old school.
Oh and that sense of humor, she always had the crew going....Picard's sense of humor paled in comparion Kate (Leno) Janeway...guess all that coffee keeps a girl loosy goosy
Another thing, she was a great example to her crew that you can go 7 years w/out getting her a little and live to tell about it-dog gone, there's nuns and priests that can't go 1/2 that long-props Kate!!!
It was so great to see a capt. so dependent on crew member-just the comradery between 7 and Janeway was something special. Loved how Janeway couldn't pull the toilet paper out of her ass w/out 7 chiming in and giving her the probablilty of success or sharing those cool Borg secrets of ass-cleaning.
Those 1st officers adivice is usually so stupid, I'd never take Chakotay's adivce on anything, she was so right to never listen and heed a thing he had to say-after all what does a Maquis rebel know about survival.
I think its pretty cool when your moral compass changes from week to week-who needs those set of core values. I'll be Janeway would have loved the 60's dude
Its always cool to play w/your crew's emotions, like getting home. I loved how she lectured the Ferengi on their (lack) of morals instead of beaming up the Ferengi and heading for the wormhole-good job Kate.
So there you have it and more, what other captain could have done such a great job of F-ing up as Janeway. Sisko, Archer, Picard, Harriman are all just posers compared to the might and power that is Katherine Janeway.
