My favourite Shatner performance is another live one, but it doesn't seem to exist on YouTube. I downloaded it ages ago from elsewhere. I think it's a clip from the Tonight Show, or some other US night time chat show, and he's performing Pulp's "Common People" with Joe Jackson.

That and the AFI thing where he's singing to George Lucas...

Also, as my girlfriend once pointed out, his Mr Tambourine Man sounds as if he's being fellated whilst singing.

I also found just a German version of Riley's Kathleen on YouTube. Even more annoying than the original.

I don't know that song, (EDIT, oh missed the post above that, actually from the show,I remember now) but the AFI thing is here:

I don't know if @StefanM is familiar with Riley's German singing performance.....:D And with Nimoy's performance, too!
The Nimoy video is quite strange.....

Finally someone who can sing. Cool, Mr. Vulcan. :vulcan:. Just found it. I really like this.

Funny information about this:
Kevin Riley singing war dubbed in Germany by Tommy Piper, who became well known as the german voice of ALF.
And he later spoke Sulu in Star Trek 4 & 5.

I knew there was something connected with that voice. And Tommy Piper currently is participant in the show I'm a Star - get me outta here (Dschungelcamp).

Tommy Piper sounds different in the Jungle. Completely different from Alf or Sulu :D

Quite fitting. George Takei was also in the Jungle.

I'd say Shatner's album 'Has Been', and particularly the title track, has a self aware melancholy that's quite poignant.
And his cover of "Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds" looks like he might actually be on LSD.

These are singers with a really nice voice: Robert Picardo and Robert Beltran doing Sonny and Cher. Actually Picardo wanted to sing with Claudia Christian, but she felt ill that day and they could convince Beltran to do this!

Bob Picardo in an easy second place, but the best singer is clearly Scott Grimes, who plays Gordon Malloy.

I've heard Chase Masterson sing, and I even bought her CD which she signed. She's a pretty good jazz singer.
