Who Is In Love?

We had the cheating/affairs thread, how about a happier one? I was at a wedding today and it totally brought out the sappy part of me. So let's hear all your sappy stories! Who is in love right now? :adore:

I am! I've been with her for a year and three months and look forward to years to come. She is the one thing that keeps me from regretting ever getting a job at RadioShack, because without it we wouldn't have met. I'm currently shopping around for some certain hardware to go along with a certain question but the budget is fairly tight. We already have the details of our wedding pretty well thought out so it's just a matter of time now. :)

I fell in love with her in February of 2009. It was definitely a whirlpool romance. We are nuts about each other, we talk about everything. We have our up and downs. We even decided on the names for our first girl and boy. They will grow up only knowing the real Finn as an old chubby dog sitting next to them waiting for them to drop the food.

Only if I known on that fateful day when I first met her, that we would be getting married about five years down the road from that point. But it was a different time for both of us. She told me while we were first dating that her Mom seemed to sense that someone had just come into my now fiancee's life (summer 2006).

Last summer, I spent the summer at my parent's so it was hard to be apart. But this summer, we are both in the city and working. I'm loving it. These days, the wedding planning had slowed down. We had gotten a lot done already. But we are looking forward to our wedding next May.

^^ A "whirlpool romance." I like that. More exciting than a hot tub romance. :D

I recommend Radio Shack. ;)

As for me, I wouldn't say I'm in love, but there is certainly a woman I will always love; but at this point it's more of a "the feelings were real and she deserves them" kind of thing, more than a "how can I get us back together" thing.

As I tell the wife, I must love her cause anyone else that pissed me off or annoyed me as much as she does sometimes I would have booted or killed by now

Met my wife online back in '96, crushed on her hard-- and I'm not one given to crushes. Got to be good friends, but I was always to nervous to bring up the topic; she would try-- knowing that something was going on-- but I also made an excuse not to talk about it, to afraid to lose a good friend. We lost touch for about a year, felt like someone gutted me with a rusty knife. We reconnected, I finally told her I loved her and never looked back. Been married 8 years now.

My wife and I have been together for just over 5 years and we`ll be celebrating our first wedding anniversary in August. It feels like I love her more everyday.

Thanks.
This is a good one.
Notice how mature it sounds compared to a reply by some guy who knew a girl a bit but dumped him after the first date?

Hmm, I don't think I've been truly in love for the past 2 and a half years. All the short lived involvements since then, even though I thought I was in love, found me unwilling to invest much into the relationship, which I took as a sign of not caring enough about the person.

I am, yes. We finally got together last year after twenty two years of friendship.

What can I say? we're late bloomers.

Not to mention slow.

We celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary on the 1st, and we've been through a helluva lot together, including a separation for several months. We worked things out and got back together, and we're better friends now than we've ever been. We met as penfriends (y'know, the pen-and-paper kind!) in 1991 and the first time we met face-to-face in 1992 we fell for each other. I moved from Canada to England in 1995 to be with him. Neither one of us is easy to live with but our relationship is stronger now than it's ever been.
