Reakky? I think he's the glue that holds the film together. If he doesn't sell the fact that toons are real, the movie doesn't work.

Wow, really? I thought Hoskins nailed the role, and fast forward almost 30 years, I think he is Eddie Valiant (in other words: every other role Hoskins has played in his carrier is Valiant playing that role.)

While WFRR is one of my favourite movies, I think it suffers a bit of a third-act collapse. Loved the noire, 40s beginning, and when they entered Toon Town chasing Jessica Rabbit/Doom everything was going great, but the finale where Doom has Roger and Jessica tied up, Valiant doing his comedy routine, trying to destroy Toon Town to build a highway . . . I don't know, it just didn't work for me.
