Who else has downloaded Windows 7 Beta?

I've got it downloading right now. It's limited to 2.5 million people so be in quick.

All comments I've read online suggest it's far superior to Vista.

OK, my left toe nail is probably far superior to Vista, but that's beside the point.

I suppose it's worth a go. - We've done the same with things like Linux as well, just to see what they're like. I haven't tried Vista myself much yet, but heard various (and differing) views from people I know.

I'm the same, I have the latest Linux Ubuntu, a Windows 98 copy and two versions of Windows XP Pro for work, all on VMWare.

I've been playing with it for the last couple of days. Pretty good. The UI has lot's of color, and seems more "squarish" than Vista. It is basically Vista with little tweaks here and there, differnet icons and shortcuts, rearrainged Control Panel (again). Not too bad. I have managed to crash it once already tho.
