Who do you like better, Seven or Kes?

I feel sorry for Mrs. Howell when people say that.
I think every character had great things to contribute. Each one had their own charms and wonderful personalities and they all brought something unique and amazing which makes this show the best series, at least it's the best to me. It seems like there is always a question of who is your favorite, or who is better. Why can't we say that they are all good?
Kes. I hated Seven and all her hiring/development represented.
Knock the quiet, intelligent character off the show and give us a chick in a catsuit with giant, unrealistic tits so the ratings will skyrocket.
And the thing I hate most is that it worked (ratings-wise, anyway).

I didn't care for either really. But the later season with Seven of Nine did have more better episodes in my opinion.
I love them both equally.
They're the only two characters I did like, the the only reason I really watched Voyager.

Kes was a gentle and sensitive character, but Seven of Nine was more like a walking super computer. Although generous, the boobs seemed in proportion to me and were the right shape.
She intially worked better than Kes, who got partially deregulated by the time of Season Two.
Seven. A former Borg drone was much more interesting than an elf.
My vote is for Kes, she's warmer and those eyes.. and she has a nice rear.. and her voice.. and so on and so on.....
Seven. Kes' character was never really developed jsut like Tuvok's. More could have been done with them. Kes didnt really do anything apart from go out with Nelix and develop her mental abilities.

What i would of loved was if they kept Kes and yet added Seven of Nine. I feel very much that there could have been some amazing episodes and character development with both of them being on the show at the same time. Kes being loving and warm hearted could have mixed very well with 7's coldness and lack of humanity, causing much friction between the two with Kes trying her best to teach Seven how to be warm.

I have to disagree here. I think that Kes was brilliant in seasons 2 and 3. OK, they did a mistake when they confirmed her to sickbay, she should have had a more free role which would have made her available for more action episodes. But we did get some great scenes and great interaction with The Doctor.
There were also some gret episodes where Kes played an important role, such as "Corld Fire", "Persistence Of Vision", "Tuvix", "Resolutions", "The Swarm", "Warlord", "Darkling", "Before And After" and "Scorpion". She did actually save the ship on at least two occasions (Persistence Of Vision and Cold Fire).
It was a shame that they did waste such a good character.

Except for one leetle problem, I didn't want to be glued to Kes and have sex for 50 hours, I would have traded 50 intimate hours with Kes for 15 intimate minutes with Seven.
But seriously, I thought Jeri was light years ahead of Jennifer Lien as an actor. But I do agree with those who think Lien had a great voice. So, does anyone know if she was, or is, a singer?
The one thing I have always found funny was that Kes only died because Wang/Harry Kim saved himself at like the last second.
