Whither Star Trek: The Experience?

What's in a Warp Core Breach, and does it taste similar to any other regular drink?
In the large, "fishbowl" size, it is 10 oz. of rum (originally, 5 different kinds) and then filled with ice, dry ice, and, originally, raspberry Sobe. Now they use a generic raspberry energy drink (or at least I don't know what the current brand is). The mini-warp core is half that.

I heartily recommend.

They also have a blue version of a Long Island Iced Tea called the James Tea Kirk and something green called the Borg Sphere.

The Klingon Bloodwine is also good. Tastes a lot like merlot ;).

yI tlhutlh cho! (Drink up!)

10 oz of rum. No wonder it knocked me on my ass.

That was a great drink. The best part was that on my flight out of Vegas, I fell asleep due to its effects. And I can't sleep on a plane.

We've been to the Experience 3 times over the years. We've always had a great time.

If this is the end, we'll definitely have to find a way to make one more trip before it's finished.

Where will I be able to get my Warp Core Breaches now???

:(

I've got both the large and small warp core breach bowls/glasses at home and I plan on experimenting on making my own warp core breaches in the not too distant future. Not sure about the dry ice though.

On a related note, I sent a request to STTE about maybe reserving the Captain's lounge for a "Leaving the Army" dinner for family and friends in Nov, haven't heard back at this point, but we'll see.

Does the staff let you goes up to the second floor to look around?
I never been up there before, but I want to check it out when I'm there in August, if this is the last year.

They have some pics up on their website, looks like a cool place to host a private party. I've never seen it myself, but hopefully I will in Nov.

I see from the online menu that Deanna Troi's Ultimate Sundae (the one with a giant cookie and everything) is no longer being served. Which current dessert is better for a sweet tooth: Nog's Chocolate Cake or the Risian Pleasure (choose your sundae flavor and toppings)?

I am going to Vegas next M-W just to go to The Experience. I intend to spend as much time doing all the things in there, and I might just have to eat at Quarks several times to eat/drink all the neat items.

I never had the dessert there but I LOVED the Bird-of-Prey chicken breast sandwich. The Ultimate Sundae sounds delicious but is probably calories loaded. :D

I try to sample as much when I go there for the convention, but I might have to sacrifice a couple times this year so I can have the Borg Sphere and the James tea Kirk again, If this does happen to be the last year for the Experience.

That's another thing -- I want to go and do as much as possible if this is the swan song.

So do I.
I'm at the point of obsessing over seeing the second floor at Quark's and the cool looking Borg elevator with my own eyes.

Well, you can always do both legitimately by taking the behind the scenes tour. Unfortunately, because I still know people who work there, I went free so I can't say how much it costs. You do get to spend some time in the Captain's Lounge, sign the giant guest book and get a Behind The Scenes certificate, though. And you get to ride up in the Borgolift.

Really?
I didn't know you could do the Borg elevator or the Captain's Lounge as part of the behind the scenes tour. Just the stuff dealing with the 2 rides.
I wasn't planning on taking the tour but I will now.
I'm willing to fork over cash to see this.
Do they let you take pictures of the Captain's Lounge and the Borg elevator?
I'm sorry, but I'm going all out this year in case this is the last for the Experience. Plus, as obsessed as I am, I wouldn't want to interrupt any weddings receptions or whatever going on at the time.

Just took the Backstage Tour last January. Didn't get to ride the Borg Lift. Did go upstairs and thought I took some pictures but I didn't. It wasn't all that impressive I guess. The tour however was great. Also got to meet and chat with Susie Plaxton for about 15 minutes. Great fun.

Maybe the elevator was out of order or the tour group was too large?

Oh damn! I was thinking of going next year if George Carlin was doing anything in Vegas, and take a trip to STTE as well while being there. Now I will never get the chance, if this is the end :(

I just arrived home yesterday from Vegas. OMG I HAD SO MUCH FUN. The Experience was the shit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was giddy over every little detail of the museum and rides. T'Bonz, I noticed some of the typos in the timeline, "Dr. Bashin," ugh!

Quark's Bar was great, and the Romulan Ale goes really well with Nog's chocolate cake. Of course I had a warp core breach, it was delish! Here are some pictures I took (stroll down Memory Lane for many, teasers for the rest)

Some pics of the models hanging from the ceiling:
