Hell as William matures in to a grown man, it becomes ever harder to picture Charles being king, and I dont mean that as a negative mark on Charles himself.

Most people I know of all races, political backgrounds, and beliefs consider Al Sharpton a massive joke. Just because he can muster up media coverage doesn't mean he's not a buffoon. You're like those people who post threads saying "PETA went off the deep end this time!" as if it's some major revelation to the vast majority of people that PETA took what was essentially a positive message and went completely overboard with it long ago. at some stage I think the royal family needs to stop going from parent to child but grandparent to grandchild, it would mean skipping Charles or William, and I know its wrong to skip either of them, but I think its something that should be considered.
The royal family needs some young blood, the crown passing from one 60yrs old to the next is not something I would like to see, William will be plenty old enough when the Queen dies, it seems logical to skips Charles, and install William on the throne.

The thing is they can abdicate at any time, so it could easily go to a younger member within months of an older member getting it, doesn't have to be a life long office.
that is true, and if you do go from grandparent to grandchild there is a chance the grandkid will not be old enough, so the parent would have to hold the throne for them until they are.
