I hated the Second Class moniker for a while, but I am warming up to it. "Second-class citizens", which is sort of what mutants are. However I would prefer a title along the lines of X-Men: The New Mutants or X-Men: The Next Class.

I'm all for a sequel to First Class most definitely. However, I think it would be sweet if they went off in a mirror/dark direction and just called it The Brotherhood of Mutants or something, sort of like The Dark Knight or even The Empire Strikes Back. Be different, people, non conform.

:)

I just hope there is another step up level to go to if they do a sequel like we hope. Doesn't it suck that George Lucas took what should have been a three hour movie into 3 sucky prequel movies? First Class should have had at least 2 to tell its story.

Someone above mentioned how a Wolverine sequel will likely ignore the first one. The cool think about that is the way the first one ended, a sequel shouldn't reference it. Logan's memory is gone, and according to the X-Men films, he has no contact from people before his memory wipe. A follow-up can be a sequel and a one-off.

As for the above question, the best option is probably a First Class sequel. It has the most narrative potential. Eventually, I think it would be cool to see a X4 following on from The Last Stand (though years later). But, right now, stick with the prequel story.

Don't care about Wolverine.

Anything with Michael Fassbender in it.... count me in. :)

So I'm hoping he and James McAvoy will be reprising their roles. First Class rocks.

I don't think we'll be hearing about any future X-Men flicks any time soon frankly...just "The Wolverine" for now. I think Fox wants to monitor the box office for "First Class" and perhaps the DVD sales later in the year before making up it's mind about another one along with the future of the franchise. Just my guess.

But she hasn't slept already anyway! I'll really start posting scary pictures if anyone else misbehaves! ;)

You have been warned, Persian!

What I'd really like to see is the rights revert to Marvel so they can reboot the frak out of the franchise, but I know that's almost completely unlikely to happen any time soon.

That said, as long as we're stuck with the Fox universe, I don't ever want to see a sequel to The Last Stand unless it somehow manages to cleverly circumvent that POS or just ignores it entirely. A sequel to First Class would be welcome, as I was very pleasantly surprised by it, but they need to have a much stronger lineup of mutants next time.

I was much more interested in The Wolverine when Aronofsky was attached to it. Now I'm pretty hesitant. And I have zero interest in Deadpool as a character, so I have zero interest in any movie about him.
