Which Trek actor would you most want to rule earth?

It has to be a series regular and someone who is still alive. Basically this person gets ultimate control over the planet to run it as he or she see's fit. How this happens is unknown. Let's just say magical monkeys for the sake of it.

My choice would be Avery Brooks. He has always seemed very serious and someone interested in the issue's. Has common sense and human decency. He would be a good choice I think. Second up maybe Armin Shirmann. Didn't he use to be in charge of the actors guild? That means he has leadership skills.

I forgot about Takei. I now want him as the new ruler in this situation. I just wish Stephen Hawking was still alive. He would have been a cool choice as well.

I so want to move this to GTD, but it's borderline enough that I guess I don't really have sufficient grounds.

So to address your question. There seems to be a recurring theme in many of your threads where you want to have complete dictatorial control over the entire planet resting with a single individual. This is not a Good Thing™. So I don't actually want any Trek performer to "rule earth", no matter how much I may admire their acting ability.
