Maybe I've grown out of it. Once I found 8472 scary, but now I'm only scared by how badly the first introduction to it was executed.

Same. But for me it was the "In The Flesh" episode. It ruined the "scariness".

Yeah, it seems like Janeway really jumped the gun on that one!

I am glad they did justice to 8472. It's hard to believe that such an evolved species would attack blindly a whole galaxy because they've been attacked by one of its species.

The 'Conspiracy' neural parasites are what scared me, because the queen can decide to use a human host. And even though one of the 'drones' can actually be taken out of the host with the right medical facilities....the human under control can still do damage....and acquire a taste for mealworm-like thingys....*shiver*

I find the Talaxians scary. It scares the hell out of me that I could be forced to be in a room with nothing but Talaxians around. I am not sure my sanity would survive.
