Wish you could vote for more than one. My favorites would be the Gorn, the Horta, the Binars, and the Pakleds.

The Gorn did "sorta" appear again.

I think everyone can agree we would love to see more Tholians, Gorn, Orions from TOS and Sheliak from TNG.

Beyond those classics, the Vaadwuar.

I'd like to see the Gorn again in a live action show, and the Sheliak in Trek Lit.

Interesting. I did this poll on another forum a few years ago, and the Conspiracy aliens got almost 50% of the vote.

The Pakleds. They're good for a laugh and underestimated danger. They're like the Clock King -- I wouldn't want to see him all the time, but every once in a while is good. It was a missed oppritunity to have then wated as background people once a in a blue moon on D.S.9., when a good episode could have been made with them.

The Hortas, of course, although they didn't make the poll. Talk about discrimination against silicon-based lifeforms!

And didn't the Gorn appear on TOS and Enterprise . ...?

That's my first, followed by the Sheliak, followed by the Kelvans. We never saw the Kelvans' true form, for starters.

Also the androids of What Are Little Girls Made Of?; the robots of Voyager's Prototype; Bandi (I'm calling Encounter at Farpoint one appearance); Medusans; Talosians; Sargon's people for sure; Excalbians; Voth; Selay (I like reptile makeup); Redjack's kind (would have been a good fit for a DS9 story I think); Day of the Dove hate-sucker entity; the Davidians (I liked how malefic they seemed, how they relished their feeding).

The small people species we saw in Journey to Babel, they might have a good story or two behind them. As Federation members it stands to reason (at least mine) that they would have starships, and that their starships would be proportional to their stature. So the corridors would have ceiling of maybe five and a half feet, the doors would be smaller, etc.

It would be amusing to see Humans of average height beam aboard one of their starships and be escorted to a meeting room, basically bent over as they walked.

They could do an entire episode of the Pakleds trying to figure out a food replicator. And failing repeatedly.
I'd also want to see more of the First Federation and Balok's people. Why did such a little guy need such a huge starship?

I chose Pakleds. The other races might have a higher coolness factor, but Paks are just funny.

If you'll allow me a brazen plug, I wrote a long story about the Pakleds for the STAR TREK: SEVEN DEADLY SINS anthology a few years back. (The Pakleds represented "Sloth.")

Hortas. I read a novel once, where one was a member of the Enterprise crew. That was cool. :)
