Which Season of TOS was the best??

As part my tribute to Star Trek's 41's Anniversary, I have been rewatching TOS on DVD and I would like to know which season that most of you that was the best of the BEST? Please VOTE!!!

Season One by far more than a mile. There are only four first-rate episodes in the second season.

Season Two for me is the BEST!!!, my favorite episode from TOS has always been "THE DOOMSDAY MACHINE" followed "THE TROUBLE WITH TRIBBLES"!!!! :thumbsup:

Season one by far. I just recently bought all three seasons and was honest to God shocked at how Great the 1st season was. All around tight. Second season begins to weaken a bit, not as 'Perfect' as the first, I don't think. Then the third is just goofy for the most part. Still love it, but it certainly isn't very strong.

There's some great stuff in the second season like Amok Time and The Doomsday Machine, but the first season is first class all the way (except for The Alternative Factor).

You can't go wrong with the first 2 seasons. Season 3 had it's moments but it wasn't as strong as the first 2 seasons.

Whilst I'll sgree that season is the best written and most "realistic" season, for me number 2 seems more enjoyable and the actors seem more at ease with their roles

Hmmmm let's see. Paper, Rock, Scissors...

I have to go with Season one by sheer mass of good episodes (rock) over the few excellent sharp edges (scissors) of Season 2. Season 3? I guess that's paper, but we'll just cut it out the best parts with the scissors and burn the rest with matches. No need to bring rock into this.

Season 1 definitely, by a LARGE margin. Then Season 2 and Season 3 (And overall, 3 ain't as bad as most people seem to think).
