Which Sci-fi future will we reach?

It doesn't matter in which direction our technology goes, life will imitate art.

There will always be a ship named Enterprise.

Is your second sentence in any way connected to your first? Or are they randomly juxtaposed?

I think he means that the Space Shuttle "Enterprise" was named after a fictional science fiction ship. Fiction being a form of art.

Indeed. Virgin Galactic also has a ship named Enterprise.

^ And there were many real-life vessels named Enterprise before Star Trek. Chicken, egg, chicken, egg . . .

Indeed, however both the Space Shuttle Enterprise and the Virgin Galactic Enterprise were named after NCC-1701, not after the line of Navy ships. So it is a kind of role reversal.
