Spoilers Which new character are you most excited about?

I’d be lying if I said that Seven’s story isn’t the one I’m most excited to find out, though. From the moment she showed up in the trailer, I’ve been all in on her being in this. In fact, given the fan love it has got, if she’s not promoted to a series regular for the second series, it would seem like crazy decision-making. Maybe she dies, though, who knows?!

She's already died once on Voyager. What would be gained by killing her AGAIN? :confused:

I'm grateful for whatever Jeri Ryan does - - it's been Too ... Freaking ... LONG.

When Voyager ended in 2001, I thought that was the last word on Seven. I thought that's all she wrote.

It turns out the Universe has other ideas.:cool:

Elnor for sure!

Also of course Hugh, Picard, Data, and seven :)

The Alison Pill character because I like actor in everthing she has been in and the Han Solo type of character because characters always work. Jason

Honestly I can't say I'm that excited over the new characters at all. If I had to pick one, it would be Musiker. Michelle Hurd is a good actress that I've seen in other things before so I'm curious to see what her role will be. I'm more interested in seeing Picard and the other veteran Trek characters/actors again, and most interested in the story.

:guffaw::guffaw::D:D

If Sir Patrick bows out after S1, the show runners will bring in Michael Rosenbaum - whom they'll introduce as another Picard clone/ Shinzon 2.0 - to star as 'Picard' in subsequent seasons :guffaw::guffaw:

Rosenbaum is great. If they ever do some Stargazer flashbacks, I hope he would be down with shaving his head again. Then again, younger Picard was supposed to have hair sometimes, so maybe he can just show up as is.

I think Picard began to lose his hair sometime after assuming command of the Stargazer, so bringing in a shaved Rosenbaum as Picard in his late 30s/early 40s would totally make sense:

Bonus point if the show-runners make a variation of this song as the theme of the Stargazer/Young Picard series. I bet it's gonna be screened in CW to attract new millennial fans as well:

"Violations" shows a flashback of Picard and Beverly after Jack Crusher died, and Picard still had hair. This was 10 years before "Encounter at Farpoint", so about 2354. Meaning Picard was in his 50s when he lost his hair, unless he was wearing a toupee during his Stargazer days. Picard doesn't strike me as the toupee type. So I think he didn't go bald until the nine years between the Stargazer and the Enterprise.

IIRC, Picard had hair in that episode, but it was clearly a receding hairline with quite a good deal missing. He might have even had a bald spot - can't remember if we saw him from the back. Regardless, it's entirely consistent with him losing hair during his Stargazer days, because losing your hair is just when it starts creeping up at the temples.
