Which look of Sisko did you like?

Did being bald make that much of a difference? I like the goatee, (that face begs for facial hair) but he still could've been confident with hair on his head. Worked for Kirk. Janeway too.

Hair and goatee was his second best look. The bald head just makes him look like more of a badass than the hair+goatee does. ^^^^^^^^

I agree with you. He looked younger, with hair. They only went with the hair & goatee look for 5 episodes, & the 1st one (Explorers) was such a bad fake one it was funny

but once his real goatee grew in, he looked good with both

I prefer the bald/goatee look (actually would have preferred just plain bald... always thought his goatee looked a bit scraggly).

That being said, I think we should decanonize S1 and S2 because of Sisko's look. Obviously, that man wasn't Sisko, and thus S1 and S2 weren't Star Trek: DS9.

I guess it brings back in a way the argument of whether he should have been a Captain at the beginning of the series or a Commander. Looking back simply at his appearence, he looked fairly young in the beginning and matured rapidly with these changes.

I'm sorry, what? Sisko was always a Captain. The first three seasons of DS9 are in an alternate timeline affected by the Borg. In the real universe, Sisko was always a Captain. C'mon, get with the program.

It is said that Ira considers elements of the first three seasons to be 'apocryphal' at best, admitting only "Improbable Cause" and "The Die is Cast" as legitimate television.

Irs's trying to disassociate himself? I liked The Wire, and Armageddon Game. There were many decent episodes in the first three seasons.

ISB should know the first three seasons were pretty good. Did he forget "Duet" and "In the Hands of the Prophets"?

I like Sisko in all looks, but the bald/goatee makes him look really cool! He could be a Jedi!

I would have thought the :guffaw: would have given it away...

The 'Hawk' look.
I remember an interview where one of the director's or someone said to Brooks that after he adopted that look he seemed like a different person and he said 'I feel ike one' I think he could be more HIS version of Sisko and not paramount's.
