Glad I'm not the only odd one out, due to voting for "Epitaph One".

I can kind of understand you. Firefly ends on a high note whereas Serenity is always overshadowed by killing people just for the sake of killing someone.

Yeah, the first season of ANGEL is pretty terrible compared to the rest of it. Season Two was when they found their footing and every episode, even the "bad" ones, had something worth watching in it. Also it became really, really funny. I loved how they turned Angel into a crotchey old man
