Which guest character(s) caught your eye? (season one)

SatrianiRules

Lieutenant
Red Shirt
I can remember as a kid watching TOS on re-runs as a 8,9,10 year old...even then sometimes a beautiful woman would catch your eye. I made a list of characters that were one offs (I'm pretty sure) from the first season. These were characters that were integral to the story and not just set/window dressing:

(TOS had it's share of gratuitously beautiful women, didn't it?)

Helen Noel - "Dagger of the Mind"
Andrea - "What are Little Girls..."
Eve, Ruth, Magda - "Mudd's Women"
Vina - "The Menagerie"
Lenore - "Conscience of the King"
Yeoman Tonia Barrows - "Shore leave"
Yeoman Mears - "Galileo 7"
Theresa - Squire of Gothos
Areel Shaw - "Court Martial"
Marla McGyvers - "Space Seed"
Mea 3 - "Taste of Armageddon"
Leila Kalomi - "This Side of Paradise"
Edith Keeler - "City on the Edge"
Charlene Masters - "Alternative Factor"

as an 8yr old, I remember being mesmerized by Leila Kalomi, and Helen Noel, and Yeoman Barrows - they would be my top three

here we go:

T'Pring - Amok Time
Carolyn Polamas - Who mourns for adonis?
Marlena - Mirror,mirror
Yeoman Landon - The Apple
Sayana - The Apple
Sylvia - Cats Paw
Alice - I, Mudd
Nancy Hedford - Metamorphosis
Eleen - Friday's Child
Janet Wallace - the Deadly Years
Kara - Wolf in the Fold
Shahna - Gamsters of Triskelion
Nona - A Private Little War
Ann Mulhall - Return to Tommorow
Daras - Patterns of Force
Kelinda - A Rose By Any Other Name
Roberta Lincoln - Assignment: Earth

For Season two, my favorites were Daras, Carolyn P. and Sayana from the Apple

One man's Kelinda is another's Yeoman Thompson.

If not for Arlene Galway's ''Parent Trap'' style haircut, perhaps she might've scored higher. Then there's the unspoken ageist factor. But T'Pring can t'pluck my strings anytime.;)

Ah, Romaine. She glitters in beauty in the night, her form becoming a mass of Nite Brite. Those eyes, those ears......that cold sore......stay with us, Mira, please.

Season Three:

Kara - Spock's Brain
Romulan Commander - Enterprise Incident
Miramanee - Paradise Syndrome
Dr. Miranda Jones - Is there in truth no beauty?
Mara - Day of the Dove
Natira - For the World is Hollow...
Philana - Plato's Step Children
Deela - Wink of an Eye
Gem - The Empath
Elaan - Elaan of Troyus
Marta - Whom Gods Destroy
Odona - Mark of Gideon
Losira - That Which Survives
Mira Romaine - Zetar
Rayna - Requiem...
Droxine - Cloudminers
Vanna - Cloudminers
Zarabeth - All Our Yesterdays
Janice Lester - Turnabout

Season three winners for me:
Miramanee, Vanna, Mira Romaine

If you like Miramanee, you may also want to briefly see the actress (Sabrina Scharf) in EASY RIDER*. She shares no scenes with Jack Nicholson.

(*Charlie X also cameos, with a goatee.)

well yeah , by default they were 'babes' but more so, because there were beautiful women as extras in the various rec rooms during scenes, but they were just set dressing, I was focusing more on the 'babes' that were actually a part of the given story.

There are just so many beautiful women in this series to choose from it's very hard? Marla McGivers, Andrea, Helen Noel, Yeoman Rand of course, Miss Piper from the star base was certainly one of my favourites for sure. 😍

And I put 14 of them together in an '82 fan fiction, including McGivers, Noel and Rand. Noel was ultimately the Ripley-style last survivor but Rand and Captain T'Pring were the last two to purchase the agricultural dwelling, as Spock would put it. And McGivers outlasted the first 8 until she betrayed the other survivors while attempting to bail in the transporter.
