For years I've tried to come up with the perfect "All-Female Crew". They can come from any series prior to Discovery.

Here's mine:

Captain: Janeway, easy one
First Officer: Commander Trio (season 7)
Second Officer: Seven
Tactical on bridge: Seven

OPS: ?????????????????
Chief Engineer: B'Elanna Torres, easy one
Science: T'Pol
Chief Security: Yar, T'Pol or Roe

Con Pilots: Roe and Sito Jaxa. Sito was in "The First Duty" and "Lower Decks". Look her up. She's a stud.

Captain: Janeway
First Officer: Kira
Second Officer: Seven of Nine
Tactical: Ro Laren
Ops: Robin Lefler
Helm: Valeris/Saavik
Science: Dax
Chief Medical Officer: Beverley Crusher
Communications (If they had one): Hoshi Sato
Chief Engineer: B'Elanna Torres
Transport Chief: Janice Rand

I'm going to try and cast this somewhat realistically and that means Kira would not leave DS9 for the same role on a different Trek show and Crusher would not come back either I suspect after putting in 6 years on TNG,

Captain-Janeway
First Officer=Ro(still keep the Maquis angle)
Tactical=Jean Hajar from TNG ep "The First Duty" Always wanted to see her return.
Ops=Seven of NIne
Helm-Stadi. No reason she has to die this time.
Science -Samantha Wildman
Doctor=Dr Selar
Chief Engineer-Leah Brahams=Fun to see her in a job she might not be equipped for at first since she helps build ships and does really do the same job as a chief engineer
mess hall/cook=Sisko's sister we never saw but she is a Sisko so of course she can cook.
Cargo Bay=Torres-She is the one who builds shuttles and she sort of the expert on merging Starfleet tech with alien tech. It would be a job not seen before on a Trek series.

Kes!
She's smart, can stay cool in difficult situations and learn quick. She would be an excellent OPS officer.

I just have to come up with something similar to Jayson1's interesting idea of a Valkyrie ship (to quote Q). This would be my choice:

Captain=Janeway
First Officer=Kira Nerys
Tactical=Ezri Dax (In my scenario Ezri and Jadzia would have been sisters instead of symbiont hosts).
Ops=Kes
Helm=Ro Laren
Science=Jadzia Dax
Doctor=Beverly Crusher
Chief Engineer-B'Elanna Torres (simply the best engineer)
Mess hall/cook=Samantha Wildman (I didn't know where else to put her.)
Torpedo and Shuttle Building Team=Seven Of Nine

Besides that, I also agree with Jayson1 that Hajar should have returned in some Trek series.

Wow! You put a lot of thought into this. As a Seven Of Nine groupie, I resisted not placing her at Tactical, but you got me thinking. Very unfortunately, I must humbly admit that because I've seen so very little of DS9, I have to defer quite a bit.
You now have me 50/50 about Seven on the bridge at Tactical. But, if shit truly hit the fan, she's an obvious choice. I could, however, see her being trigger happy and starting a war lol.

That said, I have two big questions. What do you think of the security officer position? Forget Yodo even though he/she is androgynous. To me, Yar is quite qualified, but also very flaky. Therefore, I really like T'Pol.

Lastly. Please look up Sito Jaxa as Roe Lauren's understudy at Con. She's more trustworthy if nothing else. She was a top pilot at Starfleet Academy.

And, yes. ...there's more. Do you think Seven completely lacks the temperament to be a bridge officer? Imo, she needed "sold" on Starfleet philosophy and protocol.

Now about the gal that everyone hates, Troi. She's a Betazoid jem to have on the bridge. In fact, if I had to choose, I would take her over Chakotay any day of the week. Picard and Riker were a near equal duo on the bridge. Whereas, Janeway had full control.

Again, my lack of DS9 knowledge hinders me. Minus those gals, I can seriously see Troi as First Officer and Seven as Second. I'll try to back that up later when I have more time

I think you mean Odo not Yodo. Yodo is the name Baby Yoda will someday be given. :) If I was to use Troi I would keep her as counselor but no longer in Starfleet. Lwaxana Troi would also be aboard and you could have fun seeing them interact on a regular basis instead just the single episode a year like they did on TNG. Troi would with her mom also serve as ambassadors in situations when that is needed. Plus Seven undergoing thearpy sounds very interesting in terms of story potential.

I'm not sure if that would've been Kes' best talents since it appeared she was more into medicine and biology than technical schematics and dynamic engineering. As her interests progressed I would believe she would be a Physician Assistant or a Ship's Surgeon or a Scientist on the ship.

Fascinating! Seven undergoing Troi's counseling. So, who should be at Tactical on the bridge?

I had Jean Hajar at tactical. Sito was also a option because she did serve under Worf. Plus I assume she was held prisoner by the Carddissians so my idea is that still happened so she is having lots of issues as well meaning you got another good patient for Troi. Plus with a mostly female crew I thought it would be good to work that into the premise and explain why you have few men or no men. Most of them would have died because something about male DNA made the Caretaker's experiment on them kill almost all of them but you would still have like 10 to 15 on the crew who were still alive. Including the EMH who would assist Dr Selar. Between a half of the crew dying in the pilot and a long voyage home and the Maquis aboard you would have drama coming out of everyplace. Seven to me would not be rescued from the Borg until episode 3 of the first season. Which means more drama. The Borg become a danger much earlier in the series. Suder would be alive and locked up which would add to trajedy. All the men who died who were good decent Starfleet officers but one of the few immune who didn't die from the Caretaker experiments is a serial killer.

Some of these lists did give me a idea of who would represent the Maquis element on the ship.

1 Ro
2 Torres
3 the human female member from "Learning Curve" in season 1.
4 The one lady who was both in the episode were Ro joined but also the pilot when Thomas RIker stole the Defiant
5 Suder
6 Eddington's wife.
7 Sakonna
8 Seska, who would be found out to be Carddisian spy but not be killed off.
9 The Bolian Maquis member also from Learning Curve.

I do agree about Kes being the prefect doctor on the ship.

But I'm sure that she would be a great OPS Officer too.

Having Kes as a Doctor seems like a waste. We still have Selar and I know some like bringing Crusher back but I think it would be cool if Nurse Ogawa was around as well and we could sometimes see what nurses do on a ship. I kind of like idea of someday in Trek seeing more friendships and bonding between co-workers outside the main crews. Engineers tend to bond with each in Trek and it would be nice to see that from the nurses hanging out with other nurses and the pilots being kind of macho and being into pilot talk and seeing the security officers doing their thing together. In Trek you would think you would see groupings like that because of working closer to each other. I mean a engineer and a nurse for example might be crewmembers but chances are they aren't going to see much of each other while on duty but nurses would be very familiar with the other nurses and also doctors. Stuff like that.
