Hey guys,
I know I'm kinda new here, so I hope I don't do anything wrong with opening this thread. I'm just looking for a specific episode and couldn't find anywhere else to post my question. Forgive me if I made a mistake.
Maybe this thread can even be used for future questions of certain episodes.
Anyways, I tried googling but found nothing, so here it goes:
The episode I'm looking for COULD have been in VOY, but I'm about 80% sure it was TNG.
I remember one scene in particular which I'm going to describe now:
- there were two (or more) identical ships, most likely two Enterprises
- the crew came back from somewhere with a shuttle to find the ships not answering their calls, power must've been out, I guess
- there was one ship showing the "back", the shuttle bay, to the returning crew, the other was showing the front, they were close to each other
- the crew in the shuttle didn't know which ship was theirs and since there was no communication, they conlcuded that the ship that shows the back to them was the right one, because that way, they could land the shuttle easier and faster – in the end, it was the right ship
I know it sounds weird but I hope, someone here can help me find it.
