Spoilers Which Enterprise went out with the most style?

KhanSolo

(SPOILERS...but not really, I mean you see the nacelles coming off in the trailer and the saucer hitting mountains, in any case, read at your own risk) Anyway, now that we've seen the Enterprise destroyed a handful of times, which instance do you think had the most flare, or creativity involved?

Personally, I'd say Beyond has to take the cake, the ship is literally ripped into pieces followed by a saucer separation and intense crash landing. I do, however, think they could've done something else for the saucer seeing as the Enterprise-D had a similar fate in Generations.

@KhanSolo : I hear what you're saying, but we have spoiler policies for a reason. In this case, I think the mere fact that it has to be in spoiler gives enough away, but at least people can avoid the details.

(OP edited to add spoiler code.)

True, I was just being a troll haha thanks for adding the header though

Beyond's Enterprise destruction was an amazing spectacle for the eyes, and something we've never seen before. Incredibly done! However, prior to TSFS, many of us doubted that it was possible for them to actually destroy the Enterprise, so it was game changing for Star Trek.

It's clear that the genie's not gonna stay in the bottle here regarding the new film. Removed the spoiler code from the original post, added a spoiler tag to the thread title. Let the reader beware.

Alt-1701 was a spectacular take-down, no question. But emotionally it doesn't come even close to losing her in STIII.

The D in "Yesterday's Enteprise"

Let's make sure history never forgets the name Enteprise

Cause and Effect. So sad. So sad. So sad. So sad.

Just kidding. but it's a tossup between Beyond and TSFS

Though we never saw it, I'd have to go with the E-C as well. 120-odd survivors choosing to go back into a no-win battle without their Captain and relying on a junior lieutenant to see them through, all in hopes that their sacrifice may bring a better future than a doomed war with the Klingons.

1701 in TSFS for the emotional punch. 1701 in Beyond for the spectacle.

When Kirk set the Enterprise to self destruct in TSFS, because it was the most emotional. The reboot Enterprise was fairly spectacular, but I prefer the one that was did for Enterprise D.
