Which Dead Characters Would You Like To See Back?

This thread contains spoilers up to the end of season 4.

Which characters that are dead or possibly dead on Lost do you most wish would return? Because as we know, anything is possible on Lost. I only included the main characters since there have been so many deaths on Lost that I've truly lost count. And I also included Nikki and Paulo, because I'm sure everybody will want to vote for them. :D You can vote for as many as you want, though I don't see any benefit in choosing all of them. The show would have a pretty packed cast.

Personally, I am hoping that Claire and Jin are still alive. They have been two of my favorite characters throughout the show and I really want them to stick around. Rousseau is another that I would love to see back. We need her flashback episode! And she was just such an interesting character.

What are your choices?

I don't think Claire is dead, she just vanished into the woods.

Jin on the other hand could be dead, even if no death occurred on screen.

But all dead characters can be brought back through hallucinations, induced by the island, or Hugo, or an ice bear.

Marshall Mars, for one. I love Fredric Lehne.

I'm going to be crucified for this, but Michael Dawson. Walt deserves a happy ending.

Danielle Rosseau, at least in flashback.

Another flashback featuring Tom Friendly wouldn't hurt. One of the many reasons why "Meet Kevin Johnson" is one of my favorite episodes.

Rousseau, at least in flashback.

I don't think Claire and Jin are dead, at least not in the sense that would prevent their appearance in the "normal" timeline (whatever that means for this show).

Of the real-dead folks, I'd like Boone back.

Charlie and Eko should stay dead (tho Charlie seems to be having a problem with that already). I don't want Lost to get Heroes-itis and have difficulty keeping major characters in the ground.

I don't believe Claire's dead, she's just chillin' in the Black Lodge with her father. [Wrong show - everyone] But they're both damn fine shows...

OK, we saw a little bit last season, but personally we need more Libby, dammit! :bolian:

I'm surprised to hear everyone saying they don't think Claire is dead. For the record, I don't think she is either, but it seemed that after the episode aired, the vast majority of comments I read about it online stated that they thought she was dead. It's good to see people saying it isn't so...it gives me hope that she will be okay!

I remember arguing vehemently against all those people who thought Claire was dead. I didn't think that made sense back then and I still don't (barring more evidence in that direction).

Rousseau, Jin, Charlie and Mr. Eko. I voted Claire officially but the more I think about it the more I care less and less about her. She was interesting character in the first few seasons, but from season 3 onward she stalled out as a character. I'm sure they'll go into her more with Jack knowing she's his sister now and her being with his dad on the island somehow, but it's all sort of meh to me.

Mr. Eko however, I loved as a character and felt that he was killed off before his prime. I know the actor was pretty much fed up with the show, but Mr. Eko was a fascinating character who had a kickass death! I mean come on, how hardcore is a guy who's dying words are "You're next!" after he's been thrown around by a giant smoke monster?! Awesome!

Rousseau still has some story telling to do. And Jin needs to come back because, well, he's JIN!

^^I'd also like to see Eko back. I've always wondered about his last words...Locke interpreted them as "we're next," but did Eko really say "You're all next?" Or more like..."YOU'RE next" as in directly to Locke?

So no love for Shannon. I actually started to warm up to her character quite a bit and think that if she were still on the show she would make for an interesting addition. There's really no other female characters like her.
