Which character was the most entertaining to watch?

I'd say it would have to be the Doctor. In looking over past episodes, I can't help but laugh my head off on his lines and his delivery. No other character gets me to crack a smile as much as him. IMHO, the Doctor really made a fantastic addition to the crew, more so than Paris, Kim, Belana, Neelix, or Tuvok... maybe even Seven.

Anyone else feel the same way, or felt another character was more entertaining?

I like the Doctor.

Seven, the whole show could have revolved around her and I still would have watched, oh...it was. :-).

Chakotay, Kimmy and Neelix were the worst offenders of being almost unbearable to watch

Sometimes I think I'm the only poor soul that actually likes Neelix.:(

Then again, I like Jar Jar too.

The only two Neelix episodes I liked were Fair Trade and Homestead. He worked well in the background and in b subplots, but he could not carry the episode.

Ethan Philips isn't leading character material, so I understand why that would be. His nitch was always playing the bumbling idiot.

I'd have to say the Doctor, but Tuvok was grear to watch, too - Tim Russ played him...kind of subtly, and you really had to watch sometimes.

Neelix wasn't as entertaining as Doc but it wouldn't have been Voyager w/o him!
Doc was a real Reniassance man - with a program as large as his - who wouldn't? I'd love that much stuff in my head - these days I don't have enough memory left to find my bifocals. . .

The Doctor is quite amusing. Every now and then, Janeway got in a good bit of repartee too. Seven, also, offered a quip or two re human foibles which I found witty. B'Elanna could make me laugh. Voyager had a funny crew. I guess!

I disagree in the context of Voyager. I thought Ethan Phillips was a fantastic actor when given good material and thought he excelled when given centre stage in episodes like "Jetrel" and the episode where Samantha Wildman is dying.

Most entertaining to watch in my opinion was Seven of Nine, she just lit up the entire fourth season.

The Doctor, followed by B'Elanna Torres (Some of her angry or semi-angry replies were funny) and Tom Paris.

As for minor characters, Tal Celes is my clear favorite <3.

Oh, definately the doctor. Especially "Tinker, Tenor, Doctor, Spy". I'm amazed that the actors were able to do some scenes with a straight face. *starts singing* Tuvok, I understand, you are a Vulcan man....

All I can say is HELL YA! I thought the Doctor was indeed the MOST entertaining character on Voyager. Every single week I laughed about something silly he did. For instance, just a bit ago I was re-watching some good ole Voyager episodes from Year One and had happened to come across "Parallex" and "Time and Again". In "Parallex", the Doc's projection shrinks, causing him to be a little annoyed and irritated that nobody on the ship could repair his program right away. And in "Time and Again", he said a line that made me laugh.."it seems as if I am on the voyage of the damned". :guffaw:! Also "Tinker, Tenor.." was perhaps my most favorite episode of Voyager alltogether because that beginning song made me laugh so hard I was literally falling out of my bed @ college laughing. :guffaw:
Of course, alot of people would disagree with me, but I also thought that Neelix was sometimes entertaining as well. Ethan Philips himself was a hoot! His teeth always starting falling out when he was talking!:guffaw::lol:

Everyone on Voyager was entertaining to watch, but none as much as the Doctor! Especially in Tinker Tenor Doctor Spy! :)

I'm obviously in the minority as I thought Tinker Tenor Doctor spy was one of the biggest piles of rubbish I've had the misfortune to be disappointed by! Along with the episode that follows where Tuvok turns into an strange imbecile for a while - I almost gave up entirely on season six after those two. Each to their own :)

I'm a Neelix fan too so that makes a few of us. This thread made me think - the reason I loved Voyager so much is because I love all the characters. Janeway and Paris the most but all of them are very entertaining I think. Well, I didn't like Seven much for ages but even she is beginning to grow on me.

DS9 is probably far better written, I've just watched the final series again and it had me howling that Voyager didn't get that sort of treatment everything was so well thought out, the continuity was spot on, and most importantly to me and one of my biggest complaints about Voy - they end every storyline magnificently, plenty of summing up and seeing the effects of the events on everyone. But but but... most of the people just don't appeal to me - I only really like Sisko and Jadzia and they bumped her off  No contest for me - if I had to choose I'd pick Voyager on the strength of its characters, and it probably owes that to the talents of the actors.

The doctor actually annoyed me in the earlier seasons, so although I found him entertaining later on, I wouldn't have chosen him here. I think many of the characters had their moments. Tuvok, Paris, Janeway and Seven all made me really laugh at different times as well. Paris and Kim together also pretty entertaining. Spirit Folk, with the Cow, Captain Proton and Buster Kinkaid comes to mind. I never found Chakotay, Kes or Neelix that entertaining however, but I liked those characters for different reasons.
