Which cast members have you met?

A long time ago when I was about 12, I met Marina Sirtis as a Star Trek Convention. Unfortunately I didn't get to talk to her. It was a huge line and was basically 'Get your picture signed and move along' I am sure I could have said hello, but I was just a shy little kid who cared more about getting the autograph than talking.

This year, I met both Nichelle Nicholes and Denis Crosby.

Also, at NYC Comic con two years I *SAW* William Shatner. Couldn't meet him though. It would have cost an arm and a leg for his autograph. :lol: Instead I meet and got a picture with Chloe Grace Moretz (From Kick-Ass and the Carrie remake) :techman:
 
A long time ago in our galaxy, I saw Nichelle Nichols speak at a convention. (We're talking around TMP time).

I did, however, get a chance to meet Shatner's daughter, who was doing a signing at a bookstore in Long Beach for her documentation of her father's production for Star Trek V. My father had a little dialogue with her. (There weren't that many people in the store, and there were probably people who didn't know she was William Shatner's daughter).

I wanted to meet Janet Fielding when she was part of a small Doctor Who convention in L.A. just before Sylvester McCoy was to make his debut. (Yes, McCoy was there as well, doing a spoon rendition of the Doctor Who theme).

I was kinda pissed because I was kinda crushing on Fielding at the time. (It was when she was wearing a leather skirt and short top as her outfit on the show, and outfit I learned she created).

I want to meet Gary Lockwood and Nichelle Nichols someday. Dare I say, hopefully, they'll both still be with us for awhile so I can do just that.
 
Majel Barrett, Marina Sirtis, Robert Picardo, George Takei, Walter Koenig, Gates McFadden, Marc Alaimo, Chase Masterson, and Nicole deBoer. Then I stopped going to conventions (late '90s)...there have been a few others since then (Niners, mostly) that I've really wanted to meet but just couldn't get motivated enough to bother.
 
We have had the great fortune of meeting many of the actors on Star Trek over the years. My wife and I have gone to a lot of conventions!

Too many people to list, but I can say I've met nearly all the cast of TOS, TNG, VOY, and DS9. We also met a couple of folks from Enterprise.

My favorites: Marina Sirtis, Nana Visitor, Kate Mulgrew, Brent Spiner, George Takei.

98% of the people we've met have been either good or great with the fans.

I need to find more Star Trek conventions. The only one I ever went to was the one when I was little.

Lately I have been going to Comic Cons and Zombie conventions, but nothing 100% Star Trek.
 
I have never met any of the regular cast members. The only person I've met who has appeared on Trek in any form is John Tesh (who once played a Klingon on TNG) after one of his concerts.
 
None, sadly. I'm a new fan, and with Kelley, Doohan, Barrett, and most recently, Nimoy, all gone from the original cast, I really would like to meet Shatner :D

He's probably my favourite member/character from TOS, despite his reputation of being an "asshole" or "egotistical" or whatever.

Hopefully he makes a visit to Ireland sometime soon in the future.
 
I haven't been to a con in almost thirty years but when I did go I had the opportunity to meet Nichelle Nichols, Walter Koenig and Jimmy Doohan.
 
Brief encounters at conventions, mostly: Walter Koenig, Nichelle Nichols, James Doohan, LeVar Burton, John DeLancie, Kate Mulgrew, Judson Scott . . .

The most memorable was at a special screening of STAR III hosted by Doohan. There was a reception afterwards and I got shake Doohan's hand and tell him how much I'd enjoyed him as Scotty over the years.

I had an opportunity to meet Ricardo Montalban once, at an event honoring the 20th Anniversary of THE WRATH OF KHAN, but I would've had to fly cross-country at my own expense, so I passed.

Still kinda regret that sometimes.
 
I never met any of the major stars of the series.
My husband and I met Frank Gorshin who was in TOS "Let That Be Your Last Battlefield" several years back when he was doing comedy in Connecticut.
He was friendly and had a beautiful smile.
 
Majel, briefly at a the one and only con I ever attended, getting an autograph for a friend.

Walter, at a book signing for his memoir in 1998. I chatted him up about voice acting and got his email address, which still works. ;)

Grace Lee, whom I took to lunch. Man, she was a ball of fire!

Shatner, Nimoy, Doohan. Nichols, Koenig, Takei, Majel, Entire TNG cast inc Wheaton, Brooks, Meaney, Visitor, Shimmerman, Siddig, Lofton, Mulgrew, Beltran, McNeil, Phillips, Lien, Picardo, Bakula & Blalock.

Favourites - Takei, Nichols, Meaney, Siddig, Beltran, Picardo and especially Avery Brooks, who is an absolute pleasure to talk to.
