I didn’t know Hewitt Wolfe didn’t need intend for them to be the Kzinti reborn. I suppose I never looked at the spellings though.

As a novel fan, I'll add that the skin colors change a lot, I always imagine them as being like a lava lamp almost. They also vary from social castes. Their bodies are supported by fluid filled sacks so their appendages can take on weird shapes and bend in unexpected ways. They are also often described as being impossibly beautiful, almost magical. They're basically Kif's species from Futurama with magical LoTR elf-like beauty. I think they're suppose to be quite a bit taller than most ST humanoids. They always evoke, to me, an image of the ocean.. like really colorful jellyfish or cephalopods. Their planet is often described with comparisons to coral reefs in the books as well.

Translucent humanoids like in the novels...I always try to picture them like Electro(Jamie Foxx) in that Spider-Man movie.

The lizard thing is kinda covered in Trek,no?

Ever since reading that RHW pictured them as giant lizard guys it's what has stuck in my head.

I like them as basically the solid gold skin colored people from Guardians of the Galaxy 2. Basically, I'm actually not for more "alien, aliens."

After hearing what RHW envisioned I always imagined them something kind of like a cross between Sarris from Galaxy Quest but with the bulk of the Goombas from the Super Mario Bros film. Maybe with a bit of the Lizardians from Daz Studio thrown in as well.

    1. Lizards from Star Trek Online (for a long time I liked the idea of the Tzenkethi just being Kzinti stand-ins, but the look of the lizards was so cool and I like their ships as well)
    2. Kzinti
    3. Trek Lit. take (It's hard for me to wrap my head around them.)
