Where's the Lodger TARDIS?

Obviously the Silents have control of that TARDIS since we saw them operating it in The Impossible Astronaut.

I can think of two possibilities. Either the Silents are be using it to wreck all sorts of havoc, or have they given the TARDIS to River Song as a tool to use against The Doctor. The latter does explain how Mels can insert herself into Amy's past.

I figured Mels just made sure she turned up in Ledworth at the right age/time to become friends with little miss Pond and little mr Williams!

I don't remember where it went at the end of the Lodger ... but that episode took place after the Silents had it in the 60s. Though, in a different timeline since the universe went all splodey.

Good question.
You'd think the Dr would destroy it after the impossible astronaut rather than let it fly off.

Didn't the end of "The Lodger" show it fly off in a little capsule? We just assumed that the one we saw earlier this series was the same one. It's possible that it isn't but we don't know that for sure. I'm betting we will see it again sooner rather than later.
