Wherefore art thou, Giant Spock Clone?

F. King Daniel

From "The Infinite Vulcan"?

Did you feel the pull of V'Ger, too?
Where were you during your Mini Me's funeral?
Did you, too, yearn for reunification?
Where were you when your aged Mini Me saved us all (well, except the Romulans) from an impossible supernova?

AND WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU DO AT PON FARR TIME???

What became of you, Giant Spock Clone?

Well, let's think about it: the only other giant cloned around were Keniclius V ...

Maybe an unproduced sequel would have had them creating a giant clone of Nurse Chapel?

Still, this is one of the all-time funniest thread titles. Let's just be glad that Giant Spock wasn't stranded on the TAS Terratin planet.

Wait a minute...
What *would* happen to Giant Spock Clone on the Terratin planet? Would he shrink down to his normal regular size, split the difference? Or just shrink from Giant Spock down to Millimeter Spock?

What if Keniclius cloned the Terratins? Could he clone them from very very tiny to normal size? Or can he only clone giants? Tell me, I wanna know...

Wherefore art thou, Giant Spock?

Because Koenig got thrown a bone and got to "write" an episode.

Where are you, Giant Spock? On his way to Vulcan to be reunited with the Creator. Have they used that plot yet?

Like his smaller counterpart, he jumped to another reality. And so is now fighting in the Clone Wars...

The giant clones and talking asparagus were not Koenig's idea, btw.

^Don't diss the talking asparagus. If it weren't for that, there wouldn't be the one hilarious scene in the otherwise dire novel The Fearful Summons, where a telepathic Phylosian hits on Kirk in a bar.

I thought Koenig was cool with the giants (or even invented them) and only hated the plant people? Or perhaps the other way around. Where can we find his comments on the issue?
