Where were you when....

^ A few. I made stops in Halifax and Ottawa before getting this gig. I'll be back in Ottawa next year, thank Q!

I was thirty when TNG ended. I live in the same city but have gone thru several living arrangements and several different jobs. Still not married. :(

By '94-'95, I was kinda burned out on anything ST. I felt it was all kid-stuff and consequently I totally ignored DS9 when it arrived.

Thanks to ENT many years later, I returned to Trek. I rekindled my love of TOS from childhood in the 70's.

So yeah, what a long strange trip it has been........... :vulcan:

I was 10
I've since moved 7 times, completed 10 years of elementary/high school/college, held 6 jobs, and now I'm about to buy my first car, after driving my mom's old car for 4 years

In 1994, I was still living in Anchorage, Alaska. Now I live in Maine. And I also spent three years in Virginia in-between the two.

Just to see how much our lives have changed since the end of TNG in 1994. How many of you still live in the same house, or heck, in the same city as you did back then? Its been 14 years since TNG ended, a lifetime ago it seems...

Well in 1994 I was 11 and played on the "lower school" now I've just bought a house with my girlfriend. In a few months we will move there. But because I don't live in the U.S. I didn't knew anything of ending TNG or DS9. Only heard something about the end of Voyager, but in the Netherlands were I live everything is broadcast at a later time. I saw the end of DS9 in 2001..

I own my own home that's roughly five miles from where my family (parents, sibling and I) lived in 1994. When TNG went off the air, I was about a month away from graduating from high school. Now I'm... an adult.

Let's see, I was 25 living at home and in my first real job. When the series ended I was sick at home with the flu. That didn't stop me from enjoying the series finale. I exercised by bike riding for approximately 3 hours a day, 3 days a week.

Since them, I'm back in my parent's home, disabled on one side and the only exercise I get is stretching my disabled side to keep the joints, ligaments and muscles from becoming stiff.

Different house, but the same city and I'm still working the same job for the same company.

Fourteen years is hardly a lifetime unless you're very unfortunate. Eisenhower was the President when I was born, so for me it seems like All Good Things only aired last week.

I was 25, living in downtown Denver, and about 2 months from getting married. Now I just celebrated by 14th wedding anniversary, have a 6 year old son and a daughter coming in about 3 weeks.
I now live about 12 miles from my old apartment on Capitol Hill and (unfortunately) still work for the same company.

14 years old, just about to start my last summer before high school. I think things are a bit different now.

I was 4 in 1994. Neither myself, or any of my relatives had watched Star Trek at all up to that point. It wasn't till 1996 that I was introduced to TNG I managed to corrupt both my parents into Trekkies (my dad had the Klingon logo decal-ed on his sailplane. Alas that hard times have forced him to sell it)
Now, I'm starting my first job and my first year of college. My, how fast things change when you're young.

I was 24 and although I live in the same town now, I've lived in others in between. I'm in much better shape; I am married with a stepdaughter; I have a different car; different job; I didn't get my first computer till 1995, I've had 6-7 since. I definitely feel older.

Same state, different town. I had moved away to find work after graduating high school ended up a few years later moving back to my home town.(After living in many different states)

I was only 9 years old when TNG ended in 1994, so you can guess that a lot of things have changed since then. I am now 22 (almost 23).
