My vote would be for Lionsgate. They have a good track record of DTDVD material and would be perfect for more Stargate movies.
This. Syfy has shown in recent years that they can make quality science fiction. Eureka, Warehouse 13, and Sanctuary come to mind (correct me if they aren't owned by NBC/Syfy).It'd make sense for Syfy or NBC Universe to just outright buy the series and own all the rights to it at this point.
I'd shoot for considerably better than that level, or why bother? To me, those are all proof that skiffy is happy to churn out mediocre product, not anything I would call "quality" sci fi, and that Stargate will never be anything better than mediocre in their hands.Eureka, Warehouse 13, and Sanctuary
Send it back to Showtime, and reboot the frak out of it.
I've thoroughly enjoyed all three of those programs. They are certainly better than any network science fiction, better than most of the past Sci-Fi original shows like Tremors, and better than the first three seasons of both Enterprise and The Next Generation, and to me, better than the majority of Voyager.

No reboots! Rebooting is lazy.
Why have Emmerich (and Devlin) reboot the series? Just have him make a sequel to the original film. I'd get behind that.
^And those of us who enjoy it should do what? Watch reality TV? Rent some stupid movie about sparkly Vampires?
SGU is one of the few half-way decent shows left.
