Where is the Cardassian Borg?

I've seen the pics of the Cardassian Borg in First Contact, but I wasn't able to spot him in when I rewatched the movie tonight. Does he come from a promo photo only, or can he actually be seen somewhere in the movie? If so, when?

IIRC, that individual was cut from the final movie. That actor only wore that makeup on a single shooting day.

Yeah, I'd always wondered about the Cardassian borg myself.

Spends the rest of his functioning metabolic existence being used against the interests of the Cardassian state. Hell of a way to go.

I don't have the dvd on hand now but I'm pretty sure I remember there being a Cardassian Borg in the movie, but only for one or two shots. There's a closeup on his face, and he had one of those holographic pog-looking eyepieces

Sorry, I was wrong. I looked at the dvd where I thought it was and it wasn't there.

I thought about that too. In a lot of ways, the Borg are what the Cardassians tried to do, carried to an even more hellish extreme. As one of my fanfic characters put it, at least as a Cardassian, you can choose to do the wrong thing and be hanged for it.

A Borg doesn't even have THAT choice. :(

I think one of the Borg we see in the cubicles (regenerating) was Cardassian. I don't think we see it actually walking around though.

Engineering, I think. There's a lot of shots of drones standing around in cubicles there and I think one of them is a Cardassian.

There is a subset of trading cards of the various alien Borg drones, including a Cardassian Borg, from the "First Contact" movie set. Also in "Star Trek: The Next Generation: The Continuing Mission" book. That's were you've probably seen the publicity still.

And yes, there was a set of Cardassian, Klingon and Hirogen Borg action figures from Art Asylum. A fourth, the Ferengi, was dropped from the set after prototypes were produced.

Ahh, so that's where that pic came from.

Too bad there aren't any other angles on him, though...I actually thought it would've been interesting to see just how far the upper part of the eye ridges go, past what is normally the hairline.
