Where is "Star Trek: Typhon Pact: Paths of Disharmony" ePub eBook?

I have about 30 paper books that I wish to repurchase and read in ebook format, plus a wishlist of about 80 more, and growing. And I'm a slow reader--I'm lucky if I finish 12 books in one year.

I just need to keep reminding myself, "It's the journey that matters, not the destination."

I really don't think we need two threads on almost exactly the same thing.

Merged.

There were two threads? I was wondering what happened to my thread from a couple days ago when I clicked on the link in my email and it came across as "no such link".

Also, yeah I bet it will come out within a month....it's just really terrible that Amazon gets it first....I'm not an Amazon fan, and never will be.

You guys are so impatient. Gonna go blow up the Pocket Books office because your preferred format of a book that you're going to complain about the price and format and "agency model" anyway isn't out ASAP.

Well, it takes time to strip out those DRMs and reformat chapters dontcha know. ;)

Seems to me some of these guys could set up a ST eBook service of their own, negotiate purchasing the files from S&S, set up an official online shop and start selling.

Where was the talk about price? How about you join the real conversation. I've been looking forward to the book to read on my Nook....I can't because it's not out for it yet, but it's out for other formats.....makes no sense to me.

Is it too late for me to mention poor formatting?! Please tell me I was the first to mention poor formatting.

What about the morality of removing drm?

Man, I am always late to the party...

ok guys, we've got 3 ongoing threads for those discussions, so please keep this one on topic.

To be honest, there is more then just Amazon and the Kindle. Also, it turns out that it's available as an ePub outside the USA. So to be honest, it's totally unfair to those of us who do have a reader that's not a Kindle.

S&S are creating Paths of Disharmony because of this.

In numerous other threads about ST eBooks. Just wait a few more posts and there'll be one about price. Or format. Or availability. Or DRM. Or the agency model.

Maybe the person who converts for Nooks has been on vacation?

It's ePub in the USA that's not available. The nook is just ePub with a different DRM. But the nook can handle the standard Adept DRM. So even if it wasn't at B&N but another shop like say Sony or Borders, then the nook can still handle it.

P.S. Since it's available for the nook, I can get it and strip the DRM for a standard ePub.

Just for the record, I have a Sony and I'm kind of pissed too. I was just kidding. They really need to get their shit together when it comes to ebooks. It's not new-fangled tech anymore.

It seems that it is now available for the Nook

Has anyone actually tried to purchase this one from B&N yet?

This direct link does take you there and it appears to be available but you can't find it through a normal search. If you just go to the B&N site and perform a general search for Typhon Pact, it only shows the paper version available, along with paper and Nook versions of the first three titles. If you do a search for NookBooks, only the first three Typhon Pact books show up as available.

Just curious.

Since I don't have a Credit Card I can't shop for ebooks at B&N, but it seems to be purchasable (at least I was asked to enter Credit Card information in the checkout process.)
