I am not ready to make a prediction. But it strikes me that a Pre Temporal War, Post Voyager era could be interesting.

What role did Section 31 play in the destruction of Romulus?

At the same time, I remember hearing there was some talk about explaining how Section 31 went from being a known entity operating "openly", to something so incredibly secretive and hidden as we see in DS9's run.

Movie Era allows the tentative peace with Klingons, and an under-explored era in the Trek canon. That 80 year period between The Movies and TNG.

Around season 3 of DS9.

Except ... from the POV of Section 31 - time jumps permitted to push the story along, of course. It gives us The Klingon War and Dominion War to play in. Whose to say Georgiou wasn't Sloan's number two. Or, he was HER number two? Coming up with a disease to wipe out The Founders sounds like something right up Georgiou's alley.

Then we can continue on with the prime universe post-DS9, as we always should have. ;)

Enterprise-era - covert shenanigans while the likes of the NX, Delta wing, Daedalus ships and the Franklin are fighting the Earth-Romulan War.

Followed by a political drama spin-off about the Federation, after it's gone 3 or 4 seasons.

I'm going to go with the Picard Era. TOS/SNW Era would be the runner-up. We already know how the rest of the 23rd Century turns out. But in 2399+, the doors are wide open. Plus I want to see a Seven/Georgiou Team Up. And it opens the door for Bashir to return, which Alexander Siddig is open to.
I agree with this possibility.

In my wild speculation theory, Giorgiou will occasionally use the Fenris Rangers as her muscle and to do her leg work.

As mentioned above - I just cannot see it because of how the real world contracts are done for international distribution:

DEADLINE: Are the Star Trek extensions contractually obligated to go to Netflix internationally per the deal on Discovery?

STAPF: It’s complicated. Some are, some aren’t, depending on how it gets defined as series or a spinoff.

DEADLINE: So, the one announced yesterday with Sir Patrick, that’s a standalone series right?
STAPF: Yes, that’s a new series. Which I think is important to distinguish.

Both Amazon and Netflix are likely to be unhappy with mixing "their" IP - Netflix would have first dibs on this because it's very clearly a spin-off...

Since the GoF was being slightly abstruse about where it was sending her, I'm kinda wondering whether that makes a curve ball like this more likely.

I never considered that she would be going anywhere other than the mid 23rd century until they were cagey about where she was going. So Pike era is the one place she isn't going to land.

Send her to the Kelvin timeline. Keep her away from Prime.

That probably won't happen.
Georgiou said she doesn't want to go back to Terra, and the GoF clearly said he wasn't suggesting that... but that he will return her to a time when the prime and mirror universe were still in alignment (and an even earlier statement from him implies that Georgiou no longer fits quite well in the Terran universe - albeit, its possible the late 24th century Terran rebellion could work for her as Smiley and the others didn't seem to want to go back to Terran Empire days - though, mind you, they wouldn't be the Federation... still an Empire probably, but far less violent and destructive).

However, the dialogue from Terra Firma Part II implied she will be kept in the prime universe but in an earlier time frame (back in the 23rd century just after Disco departed, or possibly Picard era - both of which already use a lot of existing sets from Disco).

Since it was already mentioned that Georgiou is due to be given her own S31 show... people are of course somewhat expecting to see this... but its not set in stone.

Isn't there a similar "problem" with the DCW shows, yet they pump out crossovers on a yearly basis.

We don't know how the contracts are structured so we cannot compare them. The DCW shows are not flagship shows anyway so I doubt it matters as much to anyone.

If they want to keep the characters separate, then they could be kept separate. That is to say, a Picard-era Section-31 show does not need to have Picard in it. And Seven/Fenris Rangers (assuming their potential inclusion in an "S31" show that might perhaps take place in the PIC era) don't need to be a regular part of Picard.

CBSAA (soon to be Paramount+) is still the primary distributor of all of the shows. I'd think that if they wanted to mix characters across shows -- or try to keep crossovers to a minimum to appease their distribution partners -- they could do so.

And even so, cross-network crossovers are not unheard of. A character from the NBC show Chicago PD (Detective Upton) did a crossover episode to the CBS show FBI last season. I'm sure it helps that they are both Dick Wolf-produced shows, but it was still two different networks. Richard Belzer's character John Munch appeared on a FOX show (X-Files) while his character was normally on NBC shows.

In the case of PIC and the Section-31 show, both shows are made by the same primary network, even of the secondary distribution varies.

Here are my three scenarios:
  1. She ends up in the Picard Era. Major effort put in to keeping universes more aligned. Changes only impact Mirror Universe until boom....one day something happens (in a few seasons) where there is a crossover with Discovery and Burnham finds out all the good that Philippa did. Bring in Bashir, Seven, etc.
  2. Modern day give or take a few decades. It'll be after the establishment of Earth Starfleet (since Section 31 is literally in the charter). No idea how this plays out.
  3. Strange New Worlds era. Obviously she could pal around with Tyler, Pike and Spock. This would also allow them to know that Burnham and Discovery crew are safe.
Big Question: Do Philippa's actions in the past impact what we see in Discovery?

Year 2400. She can have fun adventures with Seven and the “new and improved” Picard

Big Question: Do Philippa's actions in the past impact what we see in Discovery?

Only in the sense that 'its part of history' kind of thing... a 'nod' of sorts if you will.
It will also depend on when Georgiou's show begins and how it coincides with Discovery and whether the writers from the two shows will collaborate to see how to fit one with the other (they probably will to avoid repeating themes).

Discovery was renewed for Season 4 and 5.
So, Georgiou's show writers will probably check the storylines so they don't clash.
