Since we know Georgiou is going somewhere when the prime and mirror universes are closer together, that gives a pretty broad window based on what we know from ENT to DS9.

I don't think pre DSC makes sense because then she could just avert Control and other shenanigans.

She could obviously come right after the Discovery jump and hook up with Ash, which I think is most likely but also kinda the most boring, considering SNW will also be covering that time.

I'm kinda hoping for the largely unmapped 75 years between the TOS movies and TNG.

I'm going to go with the Picard Era. TOS/SNW Era would be the runner-up. We already know how the rest of the 23rd Century turns out. But in 2399+, the doors are wide open. Plus I want to see a Seven/Georgiou Team Up. And it opens the door for Bashir to return, which Alexander Siddig is open to.

There's a lot of wisdom to this.

Since the GoF was being slightly abstruse about where it was sending her, I'm kinda wondering whether that makes a curve ball like this more likely.

Yes, but just bear in mind I'm also the same person who didn't think Tilly would become First Officer. :p

It just occurred to me when I was reading that forbes article about Wiseman how obvious this should have been. I mean, she's like 35, which in Chris Pine/starfleet years means she should be at least a rear admiral by now.

Unless you're Kim in which case you're SOL

I swore up and down for like 8 weeks that Lorca was NOT from the Mirror Universe.

It happens.

In retrospect what should have given it away was his demo of the spores taking you to romulus. For a terran, this would be old hat, but for a pre balance of terror federation, this would be quite the secret to keep.

Maybe she goes to TNG/DS9 era where S31 was a secret organization. I don't remember if Sloan died or not, but if not she could be working with him.

OTOH, if he had that much planned out, he might just as well have had a fake suicide prepared somehow.

Although it's left as an exercise to the viewer how he could have done that. The corpse apparently was left for our DS9 heroes to dispose of, and Sloan couldn't count on Sisko not shoving it into a plasma chute or using the best bits for the next Gratitude Festival dinner.

Picard Prime era. Makes sense. Also, if Bashir was brought into the Section 31 story.... Bashir has physically been in the Mirror U, AND worked for S31..... him meeting her sounds fascinating to me.

Unlikely because of the real world contractual arrangements around the world (with Discovery and spin-offs being Netflix shows and Picard an Amazon prime show).

The pragmatist in me says either back to the 23rd century or to the early 25th century. That way they can reuse sets and props from Discovery/Strange New Worlds or Picard.

My best guess? Right back when she came from. They won't be able to resist the urge to be able to do crossovers and re-use existing sets and props where applicable.
Not only that, but I think it would cause the fewest problems from a continuity perspective as well. That being said, I think I remember Kurtzman saying something about the time period for the show being potentially surprising.

The original plans were to set the Section 31 show around the present day, so I'm going with that.

Obviously it's still wide open though.
