Where do you live (and vital statistics)?

Male, 34, live in Toronto, from the Philadelphia suburbs, no kids, got a dalmatian, happily divorced.

Wow. That's... quite... a random shift. What brought you to Toronto?

Oh, met this girl in an AOL chatroom, arranged to go to university in Ontario so we could be closer together, never having met her in person. Got married a few months later. Stupidest thing I've ever done, and spent ten years in a mistake of a marriage.

But I love it in Toronto. Great city to live in.

Ruaidhri, where in the Philly suburbs did you live, if you don't mind me asking?

And how do you pronounce your username? ;)

-- 48.
-- Male.
-- Married.
-- Two daughters.
-- Nothern Virginia.
-- Two dogs (what's the deal with so many cat owners here?).

-- And, I've never measured, but it's plenty big. (Who the hell takes a tape measure or ruler to his erect penis, anyway? Am I missing something? Is that a type of foreplay?)

So ... you're single now? ;)

Indeed I am! Bring it on Shameless, I can take it.

I grew up in Horsham. Montgomery County, if that helps.

Ruaidhrí, Irish Gaelic for "Red King", closest modern name is "Rory".

Pronounced this way...
Say the word druid
Now drop the first d, leaving you with ruid
now add the word three to the end
this gives you ruid-three
But say the th in three more like the th in then and combine the d from ruid with that sound so you get three syllables

That'll give you a close approximation without actually hearing it.

Since I never said where I lived, you actually live about 30 mins from me. I am in Mississauga. I can see Toronto outside my window.

Yeah, I'm out the east end of the city. If I was on the other side of the street I'd be in Scarborough.

I'm wa-a-a-a-a-ay across the street in Oshawa

I used to play Hatboro-Horsham in soccer back when I still played soccer.

What district did you go to? I played soccer in the local Horsham league when I was a kid, but I represented H-H on the chess team. Undefeated senior year!

I was really shocked to see how much Horsham had been developed when I went home in August (I hadn't been back in 8 years). And it was funny to see a banner at Horsham Park on the tennis courts saying that Horsham was the 15th best place to live in the USA, according to CNN Money Magazine. I took a photo of it for posterity.

My school team only ever had preseason scrimmages against them; my club team played them in tourneys.

My school was in the Central League, so it was one of the following: Ridley, Strath Haven, Radnor, Haverford, Springfield, Conestoga, Marple-Newtown, Lower Merion, Penncrest, Upper Darby. :p

Me too! I'm in the eastern part of Mississauga, just about a mile or so outside of Toronto.
Soooo... uh, what's with this unusually cool weather we've been having? (Sorry, that's all I got. I guess I'm not much of a conversationalist.)

But oh, my fellow G.T.A. BBS-ers! Did anyone else listen to 92.5 JACK FM? They just changed it today to KISS-FM, and I for one am pissed. As Jack, they played mostly classic rock, but now it's a bunch of contemporary teenybopper, Top 40 crap! Yeah, I know, it's just a radio station, but it was my favourite, dammit. Now what am I supposed to listen to? :wah:

Maybe fate is trying to tell me to get an I-Pod. ;)
