Where do you buy Books?

I always look for a good deal on everything I buy. I used to buy Star Trek books at a discount at WalMart. They stopped carrying them in-store. I have checked out their online selection and they offer the discount plus free shipping to the store. I live withing walking distance, so this is great for me.
It seems the latest books are at a higher price, and not available for free shipping to the store right away, but I am behind anyway. Today I just ordered MU: Rise Like Lions, TOS: The Rings of Time, DTI: Watching the clock, TOS: That which Divides. I like the discount and free shipping to the store. I also like that I can pay with paypal. Plus they will send me a text message when it is available.
Where do you like to buy books?

Local store called Black and Read. Though if I want a specific book I will usually just hit up Amazon.

Barnes and Noble eBook store, sometimes Kobo Books if I can get a good deal with a coupon. I strip the DRM from my books anyway so I like to be able to buy from any store and convert them to ePUB using Calibre.

Now that Borders has had its final chapter & Barnes & Noble can be hit or miss Trek book wise I've gone kindle now. I will hit B&N if I'm near one while out with my wife & want to avoid her store & brouse the bargin books. One habit I have devoloped now is reading more than one book at a time, so easy to do now that the books are just files now to pull up. Picking up a dead tree book wasn't so much hard as now I don't have books here & there waiting to be read.

I'm trying to go 100% digital with my Nook and Comixology, but for the occasional stuff I can't get that way I get it from my local bricks and mortar Barnes & Noble.

Usually Barnes and Noble...the closest one if just a 10 minute drive away (in fact it's the only one convienent bookstore left near where I live) and Amazon.com occassionally.

My local used bookstores (Don't have any new bookstores) carry very little in the way of Trek so I usually just hit up Amazon.

I buy my books at work (good selection, employee discount) and older books at various used bookstores around downtown Toronto.

Amazon, either new (pre-order anything you like the sound of EARLY, for a big discount!) or used, and eBay. And various charity shops.

I used to always get mine at my local Barnes & Noble, but now I get them from Kobo for my e-reader. The e-reader gives me a lot of problems though, so I'm hoping to switch to a tablet in the next year, which will let me start getting the Nook and Kindle versions.

Amazon mainly. There were no large bookstores for 75 miles in my area till recently, when a Bam opened up to replace the last Borders to close.

I have an e-ink nook that I got mainly for free eBooks and library books. The thing I don't like about tablets for reading is that they are LCD. The reason I got the nook is so that I don't stare into a lighted screen.

I am surprised how many people are buying their ST novels as eBooks. I like my Nook, but I don't feel you get a good deal on eBooks. They had that pricing scandal in the news recently. You can never buy a used eBook, or sell your old ones can you? I have some New Frontier books that came on a CD with one of the Hardbacks, so I can try reading some ST on my Nook.

I buy My books at Barnes&Noble and Used book stores I just found Collision Course and an Enterprise novel yesterday. I also buy From Amazon.com If I can't find a certain novel written by one of my favorite authors it's the only way I can buy the books I want to read.

I used to get them from two Borders locations, both of which closed last year, and on occasion from two Barnes & Noble stores (but not often since I no longer drive. My girlfriend will drive me if I ask her to though). Now, for the most part, I get them from Amazon.
