I have watched my very first Doctor Who episodes with William Hartnell and, although that is besides the point, actually quite liked them.
Anyway, afterwards I set out to youtube to see what became of the companions, since there is hardly a chance that I will be able to watch the later episodes. I found this one video in which the Doctor says goodbye to Susan; the guy who uploaded it, I assume, has rescored the video. I feel like I should know the melody! As if it is from another show or movie I've watched a dozens times, but I just can't put my finger on it!
Since this isn't really a Doctor Who question (should I be correct in my belief that the music has nothing to do with Who), I decided to post this here. A smile to the one who can give me the answer!
The video in question.
