Have the Stargate and Stargate SG-1 comics ever been reprinted in graphic novel form? I can't find any. On a related topic, why aren't there any Stargate video games apart from the old 1994 movie tie-ins and the MMO which might never be released? The Stargate franchise is a bit like Star Trek's little brother. They have similar styles and a similar habit of spawning spin-off shows in rapid succession. And yet Stargate has no video games and very few comics while Star Trek has dozens. Why is that?

Stargate isn't as popular as Star Trek. Moreover, they've just had bad luck when it comes to video game licenses. The first game was cancelled (even after their graphics were used in an episode), and word has just came down that Stargate Worlds is experiencing problems financially, too.
I'm not real sure Stargate would be a super great video game. The MMO is a great idea but that seems up in the air at this point. I think the problem is that there isn't enough there to make your typical video game that would be interesting enough to play. Maybe if there were other, not evil galactic super powers in the Universe it would be easier. But as it stands it seems as though only evil powers such as the Goa'uld, Ori and such have any real power.
The odd thing is that we know that, at least in the Milky Way, there is a functional galactic society. We just never see enough of it.
