When will we get a look at the new "Excelsior"?

Rumor is getting around of a new book/books centered around a ship that is an updated Excelsior-class. Will there be official drawings of this design, like the Titan and the Sagittarius ?

Where did you hear that? This is the first I've heard of it. A bit surprising, considering the amount of different series and limited slots these days. I'd take it with a grain of salt.

Huh? The only new Excelsior-related book I'm aware of is the current month's release, Forged in Fire. And that's about the Excelsior itself, not a later updated version.

I've just heard it as a rumor a couple of times, most recently in a post at Memory Alpha. The post got reverted as it was unsourced, so RUMOR may be all that it is, but I'd heard it before that, so I was just wondering...
