When will shooting for the new series start?

oh my I hope those spoilers come true about a past doctor especially McCoy seeing as he is my favorite doctor, and if it is true then i will be over the moon with joy.

i do think it will be to soon for tennant to come back into the role, as it feels like he has only just left even at the point of the xmas special less than a year "

A really interesting possibility of seeing Eight again is how the Doctor reacts to him. I just have this image of Eleven completely losing it and lashing out at Eight or trying to avoid him utterly, and finding out that as much as he hates himself, he hates when he was Eight the most, because that's the face he had when he destroyed Gallifrey.

Precisely my thoughts. If possible, I would want all of the living Doctors to return, but if it has to be one, I want McGann.

Hmm, actually I'd quite like to see McCoy, I don't know I can just see him and 11 sparking off one another. That said I'd rather leave the past Doctor route until smith's had at least two seasons, and I certainly wouldn't want it to be Tennant, bring him back in 2013!

Of course you're both wrong. The Doctor who needs to come back is Colin Baker as the Sixth Doctor. Oh, it would be magnificent!

i would want Paul McGann as he is a kool actor and would love him in a doctor who wpisode

I agree. Personally, I think the Sixth Doctor always makes things better. Oh the SPARKS that would fly... I still want my Donna/Sixth Doctor story.

You and me both. *sigh* That would make for the single most fantastic thing in the history of ever.

Seeing ANY of the classic series doctors in the new show for more than an extended cameo ala Time Crash would be awesome...

If we can't get any of them back i'd settle for another flashback montage.

Only this time please make it clear enough for people that don't know about past doctors to see.

The eleventh hour montage was too dark and you couldn't see the fourth doctor

The Lodger montage went by WAAAYY too fast

"The Next Doctor" one was perfect

Churchill said to Eleven "you've changed your face again" which implies Eleven's at least the third version he's met, and only leaves Amy knowing that he can apparently change his face, but not how or why unless the Doctor explained it to her off-camera. which seems unlikely since she thought he was dead in TBB...

She didn't even realize he was alien until TBB too. I guess before that she just assumed he was a human time traveller from the future or something.

I assume by this point she knows about the regeneration though. Considering how pesky she is with her questions ("Explain!"), I'd be surprised if she hadn't bugged him to death about every detail of his life by now. lol

Doesn't he make a comment about being an alien at the end of the 11th hour when she goes on about the bowtie? Or does he just say he's from another planet?

"So you see Amy, that's why bow ties are cool."

"Certainly cooler than you used to be, it's true."

That makes me wonder...is Amy really aware of the whole regeneration process and the fact that the Doctor she knows is only one of eleven incarnations yet? He didn't exactly explain to her in The Eleventh Hour just why he was acting all strange or anything...unless she deduced it through the Atraxi's slideshow...

Yeah, if she's around when Smith regenerates, I don't think Amy Pond will react too well to the fact that her travelling buddy changes faces. ;) He doesn't tend to tell his companions about this aspect of his race, does he?

Does every post really need to be spoiler coded?

They'd be crazy to bring Tennant back. Smith is having a hard enough time differentiating himself from the wallpaper without being upstaged by another Doctor.

The more interesting tidbits in that article are River's first meeting with the Doctor and Amy's *big secret*- getting knocked up would be the perfect next step in her storyline.

Only if it's directly relevant. He didn't tell Donna, but apparently explained the whole process to Wilf and Sylvia when he told them how she lost her memory. He told Martha when he thought the light was going to get him in "42," but I don't think he explained it in any detail until they met Jack and the Master.

I think there's only one Doctor who'd be upstaged, and it'd be Tennant not Smith.

The guy trying too hard next to the guy doing it naturally...no contest.
