I went to the Grand Canyon with my dad, I think when I was 14 or so.

2) When was the last time you purchased a DVD?
"Inside Out", I think. A few years back.

3) When was the last time you baked a cake?
When I was 9. Used salt instead of sugar. Never tried again.

4) When was the last time you read a printed magazine?
A few days ago. My NRA membership includes a subscription to G&A, and I get "The Harmonizer" as a BHS member.

5) When was the last time you used the points on any loyalty card?
I don't know, I keep losing them. Probably when I was still renting videos, about 15 years ago.

6) When was the last time you travelled by train?
My grandmother's funeral. 2015.

7) when was the last time you played cards in real life (not on a computer, tablet or phone)?
A few years ago. My family plays sometimes.

8) when was the last time you went to the cinema?
Before the pandemic. Might have been "Terminator Dark Fate".

9) When was the last time you were proud of yourself?
Slightly? A few days ago. Really proud of myself? I don't know.

10) When was the last time you had a bath (as opposed to a shower)?
I took them daily for several years because the exhaust fan at my apartment was out and I didn't like mold. But my new place has a tub that's really too small for my 240+ pounds. But o think I've had one within the year.

And if hot tubs count, about 9 hours ago.

I took them daily for several years because the exhaust fan at my apartment was out and I didn't like mold. But my new place has a tub that's really too small for my 240+ pounds. But o think I've had one within the year.

National parks, late summer. I'm an avid hiker but I go to state parks a lot more frequently than national parks.
DVD specifically, I can't remember. I only buy DVD when the movie or TV show isn't available on blu-ray or 4K disc. If we are talking about video discs in general, I bought a new movie on 4K disc this week.
Cards, it's been a few months. There are all kinds of newfangled analog games coming out all the time, and one of my favorite card games is Exploding Kittens. If we are limiting this to the traditional four-suit, 52-card deck of cards, then I can't remember.

December 2023. I visited the Mt Field National Park, here in Tasmania. (Edited to say - It was December 2022)

2) When was the last time you purchased a DVD?

I have ordered a couple online this year for a friend who isn’t on the internet. The last time I bought DVDs for myself was in 2019 when I bought season 1-3 of the Addams Family.

3) When was the last time you baked a cake?

Christmas Eve 2021

4) When was the last time you read a printed magazine?

About 5 years+ ago before I cancelled my New Scientist subscription.

5) When was the last time you used the points on any loyalty card?

I received a hairdryer this week which I ‘bought’ using my Flybuys points. I am still waiting for 2 x $50 gift cards to arrived that I also got with Flybuys. Earlier this year I used my telco points to get a Kindle

6) When was the last time you travelled by train?
We don’t have have passenger trains in Tasmania. The last time I was on a train was a special picnic train back in the mid to late 1980s.

7) when was the last time you played cards in real life (not on a computer, tablet or phone)?

About three weeks ago I play ‘The Mind’ card game with my son. The last time I played cards using a regular 52 card 4 suit pack was early in the pandemic.

A friend dragged me to see ‘Old’. She is a M Night Shyamalan fan. I gave the movie 3/5

9) When was the last time you were proud of yourself?

This morning when I weighed myself. I have lost 14 kg (about 30lb) since 24 July and have gone from being obese to being slightly overweight. Another 1.5 kg loss and I will have a BMI in the healthy range.

10) When was the last time you had a bath (as opposed to a shower)?

I think it was 6 or so years ago.

This morning when I weighed myself. I have lost 14 kg (about 30lb) since 24 June and have gone from being obese to being slightly overweight. Another 1.5 kg lose and I will have a BMI in the healthy range.
