The OP is referring to (presumably) his first attempt at a Photoshop cut-and-paste job in the Photoshop thread.
Good for a first effort. Now try Using the “Refine Edge > Feather” feature under the Select menu to soften the edge by a few pixels so it blends more naturally with the background.
