When music works...

Sometimes Star trek music works, and sometimes it doesn't. And in some cases (most of Berman's era) the music is (IMO) a bit lacking...

What are some of your best music moments? And I don't mean an entire soundtrack, but a brief scene where the music really comes through and enhances what you are seeing...

Spock's Death scene? Or how about when Kirk faces most certain death in DOOMSDAY MACHINE..can't go wrong there!!!

What are some of yours??

1) Where No One Has Gone Before: The scene with Picard and his mother.

2) Unification, Pt1: The scene where Sarek drifts away.

3) The Way To Eden: When the hippies beam onboard the Enterprise to the tune of "On the Starship Enterprise..." from Charlie X.

4) The Battle: When Data recites Picard's log: "We are forced to abandon our starship..."

5) Ménage á Troi: When the Enterprise approaches Gamma Erandi.

6) Tin Man: The scene where Data is in the command chair whilst a Warbird stalks the Enterprise.

7) Best of Both Worlds Pt1: The sight of the Borg Cube for the first time as it approaches the Enterprise at warp.

8) Shoreleave: Where Yeoman Barrows gives a description of Don Juan.

9) Badda Bing, Badda Bang: As the senior staff walk towards the holosuite in their costumes.

10) Azati Prime: As the Enterprise destroys the Xindi listening post with a torpedo, and again when the Enterprise takes a pummeling and crewmen are blown out.
