I had a dial up account with an ISP in Boston in 1995...basically a shell account. I could run Lynx (the Unix Brower). I also remember using Veronica for early searches....good times....
At one time I actually had a copy of Mosaic in a box on my shelf. I'm not sure if I ever learned how to use it, though. Fairly certain AOL was my first actual ISP.....even that took about a week to get working.
