Was Picard lying to himself when he remembered having hair in that flashback scene in Violations?
 
When he said to Adm. Nakamura that he was "looking forward to" the Admiral's Banquet in "Phantasms".

Of course, that was diplomatic BS, and Nakamura didn't believe it for one second. He probably didn't enjoy the Admiral's Banquet any more than Picard did.

Nobody likes the Admiral's Banquet. Probably not even the Admiral who first thought it up. It's just one of the many sacrifices Starfleet Officers have to make in the line of duty!
